Chiropractor Photos at New Beginnings New Jersey

Glad I decided to pack my heavy Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens along with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi camera when I went to New Jersey for New Beginnings this past weekend. As I typically do at chiropractic conferences (and even search engine optimization conferences) I took lots of photos. I have found over the past 15 years, that if I don't upload those photos soon after they're taken, they disappear somewhere into the abyss of my hard drives and backup media.

I have found over the past 15 years, that if I don’t upload those photos soon after they’re taken, they disappear somewhere into the abyss of my hard drives and backup media.

I grabbed three photographs from a set that I shot on Saturday afternoon in New Jersey and I noticed we had Planet Chiropractic content related to every person in the photos. Reminds me we been around for a long long time. The New Beginnings Chiropractic Philosophy Seminar was a spectacular event, and even though I’m not crazy about the flight from LAX to EWR, it’s worth making the trip. Here’s a few pics from the event…

Kathi Handt Jon Schwartzbauer Sharon Gorman

On the left is the ever so wonderful Kathi Handt, who is married to Dr. Jay Handt, a great chiropractor in New York City. I did a quick search to find a Planet Chiropractic article by Kathi titled Is it any Different? It was written in 2003 but the message has not changed. Kathi writes… “Years have gone by, but the story really hasn’t changed. There is still not enough philosophy taught in the schools. There are students that have gone through their first year of Chiropractic College and really don’t know WHY they are becoming Chiropractors.” That is as true today as it was when it was written. A primary reason New Beginnings exists. In the middle of the photo is chiropractor Jon Schwartzbauer, President of Sherman College of Chiropractic. For those that were unaware, Sherman Chiropractic College has returned to its original name. There are some USA Chiropractic School listings that are overdue for logo and title updates. Send us your latest logos please.

On the right is a chiropractor that has been writing content for Planet Chiropractic more than 10 years now. Dr. Sharon Gorman is a powerhouse in chiropractic, even though she only gets involved in a few hundred things at a time. I have no idea how she does it. She has recently moved from Pennsylvania to Atlanta Georgia, and she’s practicing in the city of Roswell, while promoting chiropractic (LifeForce Photos) at Life University in Marietta.

Danny Gambino and Jason Deitch

Chiropractors Danny Gambino and Jason Deitch

Two of the tallest chiropractors in the New Jersey room were Drs. Danny Gambino and Jason Deitch. We featured one of Danny’s business cards on the Chiropractic Blogs when I was sharing chiropractic business cards from a Georgia trip earlier this year. Dr. Gambino practices chiropractic in West Virginia and he is one of those chiropractors that helps keep Santa Claus going when he has all those presents to deliver to boys and girls throughout the world.

Dr. Jason Deitch has also been spotted on the blog, and I tend to see him at nearly every chiropractic conference I attend. I was with Jason at DCS in Orange County when Lance Armstrong tweeted about his chiropractor Dr. Jeff Spencer.

Bill Demoss Jim Dubell Jeanne Ohm

Speaking of DCS in Orange County (more DCS 2010 photos), I spotted chiropractor/surfer/rock and roller Bill Demoss in New Jersey as well. That’s him in the photo on the left, wearing one of his traditional AC/DC styled chiropractic shirts. Dr. Demoss has been ruffling feathers and at the same time receiving awards nearly everywhere he goes. He is bringing up a whole new generation in principled chiropractic and he’s doing one hell of a job.

In the middle of the photo is the one and only Jim Dubel, founder of the New Beginnings Chiropractic Philosophy weekends. In an article titled Chiropractic Knowledge Is Power, Dr. Dubel wrote… “The day that I accepted the chiropractic principle in full faith and began telling the chiropractic story without reservation was the day my life changed. By telling the truth to my patients and friends, not only did my practice grow, but I grew spiritually and emotionally.” He is doing an amazing stuff for the profession of chiropractic and for the world.

Standing on the right in the photo is yet another powerhouse in chiropractic, and long time author on Planet Chiropractic, Dr. Jeanne Ohm of the ICPA. Jeanne has written about Chiropractic Care and Wellness and a number of other topics, related to chiropractic care for kids.

It was great seeing everyone in New Jersey, I may or may not have another set of photos and news posted soon, as I’m quite unpredictable in these days of my Internet old-age. 🙂
