It has come to my attention that yet another small group of individuals in our profession is hard at work spreading misinformation amongst their colleagues, this time in regards to CCGPP’s formulation of acute and chronic care guidelines and treatment algorithms. Parker University Receives Oklahaven Golden Heart Award

Oklahaven Children’s Chiropractic Center, a non-profit organization that treats sick and disabled children through chiropractic care, recently honored Parker University with the Golden Heart Award as the chiropractic institution that raised the most funds during Oklahaven’s 2012 Have-a-Heart Campaign. Each year, hundreds of chiropractic offices, chiropractic institutions, and many other advocacy groups around the world join in the Have-A-Heart Campaign to raise funds to heal children through chiropractic at Oklahaven.

WCCS Regional Conference Called Game Changer

Life Chiropractic College West hosted the first World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS) regional event which ran over the course of four days. Chiropractic students from 13 schools in four countries and two continents congregated at this special conference in Hayward, California. 2012 CCA Legislative Conference Features Governor Jerry Brown

The California Chiropractic Association (CCA) is hosting a legislative conference on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 featuring Governor Jerry Brown as the keynote speaker. The CCA legislative conference is being held in Sacramento, California and chiropractors as well as chiropractic students are urged to attend. Parker Seminars and the California Chiropractic Association annual convention was held in San Diego this past weekend and it was a spectacular event. As a chiropractor member of the CCA and a long time attendee at Parker Seminars, it’s my opinion that the joined effort was a fabulous value for chiropractors. There was continuing education, top-notch speakers, loads of positive energy, and that awesome San Diego sunshine.

Life University is adding varsity wrestling to its expanding athletics program. The inaugural season will begin with the 2012-2013 season. Life University is only the third college in Georgia to offer varsity wrestling, and will be the first in the metro-Atlanta area.
