Presuppositions of Healing

By Sid Mouk, D.C.

In Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), the establishment of presuppositions is considered vital in relation to any approach to healing. In fact, many NLP practitioners consider this to be the single most essential procedure in any successful approach to healing. They teach that once the presupposition is established in the patient’s mind, the patient is already in the process of healing themselves… even before any type of healing approach is applied. The dictionary definition of Presupposition is: “To believe or suppose in advance.” NLP teaches that it is vitally important that our patient believe (in advance of having their spine adjusted) that they will be healed and that we are the doctor who can and will facilitate that healing. When this is effectively used, along with expert adjustment of the patient’s spine, miracles are produced.

In the modern day Chiropractic office, one of the most effective ways to establish presuppositions in the patient’s mind is through the use of “scripts” (as taught by nearly every practice management group in this field). “Scripts” are used in most successful businesses. They’re utilized because they work. When consistently used by employees they give a predictability to sales presentations and to the number of sales to be expected as a result of those presentations… and they can be just as effectively used in the Chiropractic office.

Dr. Ed Mernin, one of the most successful Chiropractors in New Orleans, told a story about his early days in business (before getting into Chiropractic) when he was selling insurance. He was not doing well and couldn’t figure out why since he was outgoing and generally related well with people — but he made very few sales. To find out why, he lined up appointments with prospective customers and called the two top salesmen in his company, saying he would like them to do a sales presentation to these prospects and if they succeeded, they could keep the commission — all he wanted was to sit in on the presentation and see how they did it. Since he had not met either of these salesmen, he expected they would be aggressive types with some “secret” way of selling that he could learn. Instead they turned out to be average looking and sounding people who didn’t necessarily present a good appearance or even dress particularly well. But they both sold large policies to the prospects. And the only thing they did that he was not doing was they stuck to the script exactly as they had been taught during their sales training. When it said to smile they smiled, when it said to be serious they were serious – they followed the script exactly as they were taught word-for-word. They realized these scripts had been developed through many years of successful selling and they didn’t change anything in the scripts. As a result of this experience, Dr. Mernin began to do the same thing and he became one of the top insurance salesmen in the state of Louisiana.

Scripts for every part of our practice are taught at all Practice Management Seminars — they have been developed through trial and error in clinics throughout the world and thoroughly tested at thousands of successful Chiropractic offices. When followed exactly by both the D.C. and the C.A. during the initial patient visit, consultation, examination (and reexaminations), and report of findings, they provide an almost guaranteed high percentage of success in converting patients to Chiropractic care by establishing Healing Presuppositions in the mind of the patient before we even adjust their spine. Many of us may not realize what an incredible healing effect these scripts have on patients when correctly and consistently used. When “Healing Presuppositions” are firmly established in the patient’s mind, they are at least 50% healed before we touch them (from “above down, inside out”).

These Healing Presuppositions are established in your patient’s mind by the use of scripts. Dr. Jim Parker (and others) realized this 50 years ago and always taught the importance of using exact scripts by both the D.C. and the C.A., not only to teach the patient about Chiropractic healing and your office, but to actually start the healing process in the patient. Your patient must “own” the presupposition that they are in the right place and that you are the doctor who can help them.

Healing Presuppositions can be as simple as the question (as you walk into the adjusting room) “What’s better today?” This provides a presupposition that something is better — and the patient will start to look for what is better (otherwise they will concentrate on what is still hurting them as they have been taught to do by the medical doctors). The simple statement, “You’ll get better” as you walk out of the Adjusting Room also plants a powerful seed in the mind of the patient. This establishes and embellishes their faith that they will get better.

A dedicated staff that is skilled and efficient in the use of presuppositions will have the patients healing before you ever adjust them. The healing process will start the moment the patient walks into your office – and they will feel it and look forward to it. Healing is facilitated by the entire office, not just the doctor. Everyone the patient comes in contact with in your office can help them heal with presuppositions. Interference has to be cleared in both the mind and in the spine — and, as Dr. Jim Parker so often taught, the mind is the more important of the two.

This is another “piece of the puzzle” in healing. We can help our patients heal in every way possible. This puts us “head and shoulders” above others in health care. Very few in the health profession understand this. Most MDs in the western world are caught up in the “technology of medicine” and have forgotten — or never learned — what HEALING is all about. That leaves the field of healing wide open to us. The Palmers, Dr. Jim, and others have kept the healing message alive in this profession for the past 100 years. All we have to do is listen to what they said, learn it, and Do It. Forget Managed Care. HEALERS don’t need it.

Acknowledging that You are a Gift

By Sharon Gorman, D.C.

In our attempt to remain humble we often overlook the successes that we achieve and the miracle that is our life. I know for me I can hardly accept a compliment. If someone tells me I look good because I lost weight for example, my mind starts thinking that I would look better if I hadn’t messed up a little here and there and would have lost more weight by now. Even when I look back on my past successes in life my mind wants to think of the incidents or part of the incident that didn’t turn out the way that I wanted it to. I have trouble acknowledging myself for what I did right. Sometimes I get so critical of myself that I have trouble focusing on the things I did right at all. When something happens real good I discount it my mind. I have trouble seeing good and no trouble focusing on the bad.

I remember when I was a kid I was chosen to take some courses given by college professors while I was in high school in this pilot program the school district had developed. I was chosen along with one other student from the high school to do these courses along with 2 other students chosen from each high school, about 30 kids all together. I don’t really know why I thought about it today yet I realized that when I thought it through again that at the time I was sure it was just a freak mistake that they had selected me. I knew so many kids they should have chosen before me, I thought that maybe all of them were busy so they settled for me. This is obviously how I thought when I was just a teenager. If I don’t think things through and grow then I continue with this toxic thinking. As I replayed my early years in my mind after this, I started to see how I did this over and over again throughout my life. I started to realize that if I couldn’t acknowledge the good things that happened to me in my life or the good things that were said to me and about me than how can I ever have a healthy self esteem. If I could only see the bad how could I feel good about myself and the contributions I have made and am making in my life. How can I be bold enough to see myself achieving all the things that I can in my life, no matter what they are.

If I can’t see the good that I do and the right things that happen for me how can I possibly see them in other people. So much of being a good manager of people has to do with empowering them and seeing them for their potential and hopefully inspiring them to greatness. I have found that more often than not with my staff that they are able to rise to the occasion as long as I can hold the vision of their success in their ventures and of course I have to have the systems in place for them to operate and feel successful. It is very hard to inspire others when I am slow to recognize myself and inspire myself. When I focus on what is right about me I can act more in line with the way I hope I can act and I can hold the others in my life accountable to that standard.

One time I called my husband Ron from Atlanta. I was away for a couple of days and obviously had too much time on my hands. My mind had too much time to go to a bad neighborhood. My husband always tells me that I shouldn’t spend too much time in my head, there is no adult supervision. Anyway, the point is that I had been beating myself up that something hadn’t turned out the way that I wanted it to and now it presented itself as a true challenge (some people might have called it a problem). Well, he heard it in my voice. The first thing he said after we exchanged hello’s was “Put down the bat.” I knew just what he meant. And you know what, if beating myself up about the situation would have made the situation any better than maybe I could have rationalized the beating, but that wasn’t the case.

It usually isn’t the case. Beating myself up just leaves me beat up. It doesn’t help anything. A matter of fact it makes things worse because now do I not only have a problem to deal with but now I have to deal with it while I am trying to recover from a beating or worse yet, I’m trying to solve it while I am still beating myself up and insist on not putting the bat down until everything turns out exactly the way I think it should. That’s when I have to remember that I am trying to live God’s will not mine. I try to remember to lighten up and realize that there are no such thing as accidents.

I have to remember that whatever doesn’t kill me will make me stronger and I’ve got to remember to get busy doing the things that will help. I’ve got to remember to pray. I’ve got to remember to reach out to someone who can help me by either providing me emotional support or to someone who has already dealt with a similar situation or has the knowledge that I need to make the best choice that I can at the time. I need to decide what action to take or if no action would be appropriate at the time yet most importantly I’ve got to remember that this too will pass and look back at my previous “wins”.

I see myself as a winner. I see myself as strong. I see myself as a person with a reasonable amount of self esteem. I can see myself this way because I see my successes. I acknowledge the source of my strength and I am grateful for the opportunity to have an incredible life because I am open to the experiences of the moment because I live in the light and not in fear (most days). I allow myself to be human and realize that mistakes are part of the equation. I learn through my experiences and so situations are placed before me so that I can get insight and get stronger. For this I am grateful.

Pray for the Honor to Serve

By Sharon Gorman, D.C.

Service is the rent you pay for room on this earth. — Shirley Chisholm

Service is action. It is what you do with all this self realization and growth and connection with God that we work on developing. What actually comes out of you and goes out into the world.

I was involved in a service organization years back and their policy about volunteering was that if you didn’t get more back from volunteering than you were putting out then you were no longer needed to volunteer. It is often said that you get back ten fold at least what you put out, back. Hopefully that is not why we serve. Yet that isn’t a bad motivator either.

When I speak late Saturday night or Sunday morning at a seminar I often tell everyone that nothing has changed at home because you were here. Everyone you left home is probably in a similar head space as they were when you left. If something is going to change in your practice on Monday it is because you changed and that something that changed in you thereby changes the dynamics of your office and the things that are done in your office and the essence in which they are done.

The bottom line for me boils down to what energy is projected in my office. I mean I know it all starts between my ears yet what the world cares about is what can come out of me and out to them in the form of service. As a result of being at a good seminar I might return with fresh Public Relation ideas. I might come home after hearing other people who are made of the same stuff as I am be able to tap into their inner strength and create a practice that inspires me and gives me the courage and confidence to create a large practice for myself.

The change that occurs in me translates into creating systems in my practice that better serve my practice and the community. I can see myself serving more people because I see other people that have done it and it becomes a more real vision for me and I can then do what it takes to make it happen.

The biggest gift for me in serving is the feeling that I get when I am serving. I love when I get out of my own head and project my energy onto helping another person. Nothing makes me happier than when my practice is hopping and I am so busy taking care of people that I don’t have time to worry about the people that aren’t there. I get so lost in service that I feel like I am an instrument of God being used for his good to serve my fellow person. That is truly a high for me. I like when I have no time between patients and the only thing that I have time to do during office hours is take care of patients. That is my prayer in the car as I drive to the office. Dear God use me today. I pray to live an innate life and live God’s will not Sharon’s will. I pray for the honor to serve. @ 3:19 pm | Article ID: 1019686769

Step #9 to a Hundred a Day

By Dr. Rick Wren

Success Principle #9 (Always call new patients) is actually easy to do, but makes doctors sometimes very nervous. The new patient should be called on day 2 after the Report of Findings and the First Adjustment. The doctor should never ask, “How are you doing?”. This question infers that the patient should notice a difference already. When adjusting chronic subluxations, you never know if the patient will feel differently after the first adjustment. Sometimes the patient could even feel worse.

The proper approach is, “I called to see if you had any questions about your Report of Findings or your Home Instructions.” In most cases they will have no questions and thank you for calling. If they state they feel better or worse you say, “I expected that.” Which is the truth. Anytime you adjust vertebral subluxation complex that has been there for years, many different natural physiological processes can occur. Even a 16 year old can have subluxations that have been there since they wrecked their bicycle at 6 years of age.

The patient will be impressed that you cared enough to call them at home. This is a critical step towards the Financial Report on day 3. The patient will feel much better investing time and money with a caring, loving doctor. This makes the patient’s decision to stay with the doctor long term much easier.

Attach a 3×5 card to their travel card with the patient’s name, phone number, and major complaints. After giving the new patient their first adjustment, slip the card in your pocket to call that evening. Some doctors call on the drive home with their cell phone.

This principle is so simple, but is so important. If you happen to forget to call on day 2, call them sometime the first week. A phone call the first week still will help the relationship. If 98% of your patients are not considering long term care after day 2, consider getting our 3 day ROF Video/Audio set from the Planet Chiropractic online store.

Hazlo Hoy No Mañana (En Espanol)

Chiropractic for the Planet

By Dr. Stew Bittman

Today is Earth Day. We thought this article, originally published on February 10, 2000, was very much appropriate for this day.

Mahatma Gandhi once said, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world”. These are very wise words that are vividly applicable to our environmental crisis. We will never care for the planet any better than we care for ourselves. We will never heal Mother Earth’s wounds until we heal ourselves. We will never find a natural balance with our environment until we discover that balance within ourselves.

We must, as individuals, be the change we wish to see. We must become whole. We must remember who and what we are. We must reawaken to our true essence. We must allow the natural flow of perfection, balance, and harmony to express through us and as us. We must get out of the way of what has already been perfectly and magnificently designed. As each individual works toward this, the world heals.

What if we realized that in each moment, we have everything within us to be totally healthy, totally happy, totally abundant, totally connected, and totally loving? What if we remembered that we are children of God, here to serve and love our brothers and sisters? What if we understood that no one else has our gifts and our talents? What if we became aware of our true nature and developed our gifts and talents and then gave them away in service to the rest of Creation? Would we make different choices for ourselves and for the planet? Would we be shooting each other, raping the planet, abusing Nature and ourselves? Would we have a society that worships money and drugs? Would we have any needs that were not met, even without worrying about “what’s in it for me?”

What if we served the whole the way a cell does? A cell feeds its neighbors, helps eliminate its neighbors’ wastes, and protects its neighbors. A cell performs the exact function that it was created to perform, without agendas, conditions, or judgments. You don’t hear a liver cell say, “sure, I’ll detoxify that poison, but not for those cells over there in the stomach that I don’t like”. Or, “I’ll do it after you give me enough oxygen and nutrients”. It simply does what it was placed in this Universe to do. And when 100 trillion cells all share their gift, the whole body works perfectly, according to Law, and each cell receives exactly what it needs. I believe we can be that way, too. I believe we can be the change we want to see in the world. We are each a small yet indispensable note in the Universal song. Einstein said that if we were somehow able to remove a single electron from the Universe, the Universe would cease to exist, as we know it. That makes us and the Universe very special.

The Universe is an organized, healthy, sane, harmonious, self-healing, and self-regulating system. It exhibits an incredibly precise order, whether we’re considering molecules and atoms or galaxies and stars. There are no mistakes and there are no extra parts or extraneous organisms. The whole thing works within a context of Intelligence which most people call God. When we as human beings attempt to improve on perfection by manipulating the Universe to suit our whims, things always get worse. The evidence of this is clear to any 3rd grader.

Chiropractic philosophy teaches the same principle. The human body is unfathomably intelligent. It builds itself from 1 cell into 100 trillion cells in 9 months. It rebuilds 98% of itself in 3 months! That’s right- 98% of the atoms that comprise your body right now will not be in your body 3 months from now. They will have been replaced by atoms that you accumulate from your environment, mostly in the form of food. So, essentially you eat Twinkies today, and tomorrow those Twinkie atoms are part of your eyeball or your toenail or your spleen. How can we account for the fact that these collections of Twinkie atoms can literally do quadrillions of things simultaneously, including healing themselves, regulating themselves, and successfully adapting themselves to their environments? Dead bodies do none of these things, and yet are made of exactly the same stuff. Living bodies reorganize atoms into themselves, whereas dead bodies reorganize into plants. Why? Because a living body contains an Intelligence which creates it, re-creates it, heals it, runs it, and keeps it in balance and harmony. When this Intelligence is fully connected to the Twinkie atoms, we express our optimal potential of health, wellness, joy, love, wisdom, and power.

When we as human beings attempt to improve on perfection by manipulating the body or its parts or its molecules according to our limited perspective and knowledge, the body always suffers. We think of the body as the sum of its parts, and that since we understand the sum of the parts we can understand the whole. Beyond that, we think that health problems are due to a fault in the parts or that there are too many parts or not enough chemicals. There are some problems with these assumptions. First of all, the sum of the parts equals a dead body. Second, we don’t know the sum of the parts. We only know some of the parts! Compared to the Intelligence that runs these bodies, our collective “knowledge” is minuscule. And even though Madison Avenue would love us to continue believing that headaches are due to a lack of aspirin, or depression is due to a lack of Prozac, or ear infections in kids are due to a lack of antibiotics, or hyperactivity is due to a lack of Ritalin, this is silly at best. And dangerous at worst. Right now, health care in the United States is the 3rd leading cause of death, primarily because of our belief systems about health. Health is a function of life! It comes from within. The body works within a context of Intelligence that chiropractors call Innate. And when Innate Intelligence is expressing itself in and through the Twinkie atoms and 100 trillion cells that we call the body, health is the inevitable result. You don’t even need insurance!

The way that Innate Intelligence expresses itself in the body is via the nerve system. The brain generates life and this energy reaches every cell by traveling over a nerve. Every nerve that runs from the brain to the body travels through the spine. This is where the nerve is most vulnerable to irritation and trauma. The spine then becomes the lifeline of the body, and the spine was created to protect the nerves. But when the spine becomes misaligned because of physical, chemical, or mental/emotional stress, the nerve is no longer protected and can become irritated or compressed. At this point there will not be 100% life traveling over that nerve and part of the body will begin to reorganize into something that is not normal from that person, just as the whole body will ultimately reorganize into plant material when Innate Intelligence ceases expressing itself completely. When part of the body has reorganized and is out of harmony with the whole, we call that dis-ease. When the process goes on long enough and we eventually become aware of it, we call that disease. But disease is simply the reorganization of Twinkie atoms outside of the normal plan for that individual. The sole purpose of chiropractic is to adjust the spine to free the nerve and release the power of life. To reconnect the Intelligence with the Twinkies, as it were. The body can then operate under its normal and natural context of Intelligence, and be in harmony with itself and its environment.

Wouldn’t it be possible to do that for ourselves as individuals? To “adjust” ourselves? To remove from our lives that which interferes with the normal and natural flow of perfection and harmony? To live in moderation? To work on our “stuff” and confront our addictions? To become, as Black Elk taught, clean hollow bones for Spirit to express through? If we dedicated our lives to working on this, would there be as much stress? The great majority of stress stems from living unnaturally. It comes from thinking we are vulnerable, lacking, deficient, made incorrectly. It comes from living in extremes. It comes from believing we are separate from everything and everyone else in Creation and from the Intelligence that runs it all. It comes from the insane idea that somehow we are not special, unique expressions of Spirit that are here with a definite purpose. It comes from trying to improve on perfection.

The world can no longer wait for science or technology or government or religion to solve its crises from the outside in. Each one of us must take the responsibility to change and heal ourselves from the inside out. Each one of us has the power to change the world. First we must become that change.

The Healer/Chiropractor and the “MindSpine” Adjustment

By Sid Mouk, D.C.

Correction of a spinal subluxation removes interference from the patient’s nervous system thus allowing Innate Intelligence to do what it does best… healing the physical body (assisting the power that made the body to heal the body). This is enormously powerful for facilitating Healing and it can be enhanced even more.

Christ often spoke to the sick people who came to him about the vital importance of their faith… faith that they would be healed. Native American shaman and medicine men often did (and still do) their healing in a way that involves a great deal of ritualistic activities which are designed to prepare the patient for healing and to give them faith that they are going to be healed. The power of the human minds (“Educated” and “Innate”) is such that the very moment when faith replaces doubt, interference with the flow of the divine loving/healing energies is totally removed and the “transformation to wholeness” begins at once in the physical body, regardless of how severe the dis-ease condition might be.

The basic premise of Chiropractic is that interference is the total cause of dis-ease. However, this interference can take place on more than the level of the spinal subluxation. Dr. B. J. Palmer spoke of the “subluxation above the atlas” as being a major part of this interference. Dr. Jim Parker called interference on the level of the mind “Quality Interference” and he considered it the most important dis-ease producing form of interference. He felt it was essential to clear this in order to assure that the patient gets well, and much of what he taught was geared to do this. The subluxation of the spine and the subluxation of the mind can, and must, both be addressed and cleared in order to provide optimum healing for the patient.

Based upon 50+ years of very pragmatic study and practice, not only in the field of Chiropractic but also in the universal field of Healing, Dr. Jim taught us that “You have to adjust the patient’s mind before you adjust the patient’s spine” and the ultimate end result of this combination is always HEALING! The ancient healing art of spinal adjustment that we now call Chiropractic should always include the adjustment of the patient’s mind to help them to open themselves to the flow of the divine loving/healing energies… thus, the name “MindSpine” adjustment. Healing involves not only delivering a specific master spinal adjustment in the right place at the right time given with LOVE, but also a Healing of the patient’s entire being, including any non-resourceful mental/emotional patterns. Then, and only then, can miracles take place in the lives of our patients and in our practice.

A perfect example of this was recently seen down in Panama where a group of Chiropractic heroes from the U.S. showed us all the true meaning of agape love. They took time from their lives and practices, traveled thousands of miles to a country in Central America where the people are desperately in need of Chiropractic Healing, and demonstrated the Christ spirit for us all. Information was sent out in various ways throughout the population (including an excellent Chiropractic orientation in spanish by one of the DCs) and patients traveled hundreds of miles, often on foot, to be helped by these wonderful visiting healers. When the healers arrived, the patients were ready to be healed. They filled school gymnasiums and stood and applauded when the doctors entered the adjusting area, “the subluxation above the atlas” was already corrected even before the spinal adjustment was given, and HEALING took place in the lives of thousands of sick people.

When this begins to happen universally throughout the field of Chiropractic (it can, and I truly feel it will), this profession will rapidly ascend to its rightful place as the leader of the worldwide healing community and we’ll literally have to lock our office doors to keep the patients out. Sick people will travel any distance and pay any fee to seek us out wherever we are.

Everyone on this planet will want what Chiropractic has to offer.

My fellow participants in the Great Mystery

By Stew Bittman, D.C.

Just came in from shoveling 6 or 7 inches of snow (yes, this is April 17th and yes, 2 days ago it was 70 degrees!). While I was out there, reflecting with amusement about the complaints I will undoubtedly be hearing later concerning dead daffodils and buried golf courses and “I thot it was spring,” I reached an even further realization of the Great Mystery.

Man, we really have no idea what’s going to happen next, do we? Of course, that doesn’t stop us from trying. We predict, we categorize, we even think we control, yet we are essentially clue-less as we hurtle thru space, somehow hanging on to this spinning orb we call home. The unfathomable conspiracy that allows us to live our lives proceeds in our behalf, and I feel very humble when I consider the countless factors involved that are all maintained in balance.

Being at the ocean this past weekend was a further lesson in humility, as I pondered the number of grains of sand on the beach, felt the awesome majesty of the sea, gazed in wonder at the whale spouts, and saw the teeming abundance of life in the smallest tide pool. Humble indeed. And humility is a state of grace. I have found tremendous peace in the Great Mystery, peace that I was never able to find in “the world” – even the world I worked so hard to manufacture to my specifications. After many years of being as good as anyone at trying to make sense of things, I now simply open my heart to all that is, and the perfection it represents. Even the things I don’t like, and the things I wish would change.

People ask me where chiropractic fits in. If everything is perfect, why chiropractic? Why the need to change things, people, belief systems, attitudes, symptoms, or anything for that matter? Isn’t the apparent unconsciousness that now pervades the planet – isn’t that part of the plan? Here’s my response: yes, it’s perfect now, and when chiropractic steps up and assumes its rightful place; when the world is aware and freer of subluxation; when the world is expressing more ease and more harmony and more spirit; it will still be perfect.

There’s a reason I was given the gifts I possess. And my gifts are not about change – they are about awakening. They are about creating space for others to make their own changes. They are about love. When I adjust someone with love, with no attachments or expectations or desires, the universe quivers in joy, because it can then express and experience its essential nature of joy with less interference. I didn’t adjust the person to change them; I adjusted the person to help them connect to and express what is already inside. I don’t teach people about the principle to change their belief system; I teach to help them remember who they are.

I have even surrendered my need to figure out why subluxations exist. “If Innate can really coordinate 600,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 things all at the same time, why can’t it correct all subluxations”? My brain can supply lots of ideas; I just know they exist. And whether they arise from slips, from fear, or from an Innate attempt to adapt or protect, I know that I have been put on this planet to minimize them and to maximize life. I realize the perfection within the person, I connect to it, I see nothing else except for what is blocking its fullest manifestation. I am (thanks, Joe Accurso) a gofer for Innate. A servant. And to serve I must start where I am, and I must use my gifts.

I will never know if God wants subluxations corrected, I will never know the impact of my gifts on this planet, I will never know the Great Mystery. But with every breath, with every adjustment, and with every moment to which I am fully present, I know more about joy and peace. That’s OK with me! @ 7:38 am | Article ID: 1019227120

Raise Those Red Flags High

By Michael Dorausch, D.C.

If you have been visiting Planet Chiropractic for the past year or more it is likely that you’ve seen links to articles featuring the writings of Nicholas Regush. I have loved the style of the articles he has written for and now it looks as though he has something even better… his own website titled

The first red flag to some would be that the website features a philosophy. According to the site, “The mission of is to probe medical, scientific, environmental, artistic and political issues in a manner that one rarely encounters in mainstream news reports.” And that’s just the first paragraph.

The content of the website is fantastic. Nicholas and other authors have done a great job of covering nearly every sacred topic using a very novel approach, honesty and straightforwardness. Take a look at the following excerpts from a few articles for an example.

From the article, Holistic Health: Toward A More Dynamic Vision Of The Body Nicholas writes… Medicine, as we generally know it, is much like an auto mechanics shop. Rather than see the body in terms of a dynamic interactive system, medicine has become so specialized that it offers little understanding of the extraordinary dynamic interchange that goes on in the body and how the body interacts with the world around it.

From the article, The Death Of Medicine Nicholas writes… No Cure, No Vaccine, No Treatment – There is no way to be nice about this. There is no point in raising false hopes. There is no treatment or vaccine in sight. There is no miracle breakthrough on the horizon. Medicine, as we know it, is dying. It is entering a terminal phase.

Just who is this guy? In the websites ‘about section’ we discover that, “Nicholas Regush,’s editor-in-chief, is a journalist specializing in medical and scientific issues.

He is an award-winning investigative reporter who worked for the Montreal Gazette for twelve years, served as a consultant to the Center for Bioethics, affiliated with the University of Montreal, and worked free-lance as a medical analyst for CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) radio and a producer for CBC TV’s The Fifth Estate, a newsmagazine featuring investigative stories.

Nicholas Regush has also written several books and numerous magazine articles and produced features for ABC TV’s news magazines, Day One and Nightline. He has been producing medical features for six years for ABC’s World News Tonight with Peter Jennings and has written more than one hundred columns (“Second Opinion”) for”

Check out the website, and get yourself signed up for the free weekly e-newsletter. Warning: make sure you set aside some time, I was reading articles for nearly 3 hours. Hey, where else are you going to read about neurologists and “mainstream medical quackery.” @ 3:22 pm | Article ID: 1019168565
