There was a full-page advertisement in the Sunday Los Angeles Times with photographs of beaches and attractions in Southern California, along with a message from the states governor.
As you know, Southern California recently suffered a series of major wildfires. Thanks to our firefighters’ heroic efforts, and the enormous outpouring of assistance from our wonderful citizens, the recovery process has begun. Our diverse, exciting and beautiful hotels, attractions and restaurants are all ready to receive you with open arms. One way chiropractors and their families can support California is by visiting Anaheim this upcoming weekend. Dr. Fred and Susan Schofield will be hosting an event at the Hilton Suites Anaheim ( 400 N. State College Blvd., Orange, CA 92868 ) on Saturday and Sunday, November 10 and 11th. The event is located nearby Southern California’s Disneyland and California Adventure theme park.
John Wayne / Orange County (SNA) airport is the closest to fly into but there are four other commercial airports in the Los Angeles area. Other commercial airports that may better accommodate some travelers include Burbank (BUR), Los Angeles International (LAX), Long Beach (LGB), and Ontario (ONT).
Many chiropractors already registered are planning to spend the entire week in Southern California so they can visit some of the states local theme parks. I will be in Anaheim on Saturday with news and interviews from the chiropractic conference.
