If You Ever Needed A Clue

As a chiropractor, you have been telling the story, telling the story, telling the story. You have often said that “If they knew what I knew, they would do what I do.” Yet sometimes you may wonder if your message is getting out there. Your message is reaching the people and it is critical that you continue telling it. Remember, September is Chiropractic Awareness Month!

Have you heard of John Hagelin? If you live in the U.S., you have heard of George W. Bush and Al Gore no doubt, but what about John Hagelin? John Hagelin, a quantum physicist, is a candidate for the presidency of the United States and is a representative of the Natural Law Party.

If you have been following the news, one of the biggest concerns of this years election is healthcare. What we have been hearing is “more drugs.” More drugs for seniors, more drug access, more drugs, more drugs, more drugs. No surprise that the pharmaceutical industry has been contributing millions to both the democratic and republican parties.

Reforming Health Care
We spend more on health care than any other nation. Yet Americans endure some of the poorest health of any developed nation. This is because we don’t have a health care system — we have a disease care system, bought and paid for by special interests. Over 70% of disease is preventable, yet we spend less than 1% on prevention. I support cost-effective, prevention-oriented health care, proven to prevent disease and save money in the best possible way — by keeping people healthy.

“We don’t have a health care system – we have a disease care system.” Isn’t that what you have been saying for the past 105 years?

Can you think of a healthcare system that is cost-effective, and is designed to keep people healthy rather than to treat symptoms? It begins with a C and ends with a C.
