Gene Giggleman Appointed President of the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association

The American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) named Dr. Gene Giggleman, dean of Academics at Parker College of Chiropractic, the newest president of the organization. RSS, or really simple syndication, has been evolving since the late 1990s. Its growing popularity has been significant since around 2005, when icons for RSS feeds began appearing more frequently on websites and blogs. RSS feeds are not just for articles and blog posts and there’s many different ways feeds are being utilized on the web today. We began incorporating RSS feeds for our news and classified advertising in mid-2006. Tonight is a big night for television on CBS. Not only will the 2009 Grammy Nominations be airing at 9 p.m. Eastern (with a live concert event), the once a year chiropracticly approved postural event, better known as the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, will be airing at 10 p.m. Eastern time, featuring the Victoria’s Secret Angels and musical guest R&B recording artist Usher.

Instructions to post an ad on planet chiropractic

When you look at a web site day after day, sometimes things that seem obvious to you, are not so obvious to others. I’m aware there are lots of usability issues with the planetchiropractic.com website, and we are working with designers and usability professionals to make some improvements for 2009. Sometimes you have to go back to basics, and go over things step-by-step. I received an e-mail earlier this morning from a chiropractor wanting to post a classified ad, and they were a bit confused about the steps. I threw together this quick tutorial to hopefully make things a bit easier for everyone seeking to post their first classified advertisement.

From Zero to 136893 in 10 Years

December 2nd, 2008 marks the 10 year anniversary of the launching of planetchiropractic.com as a destination for chiropractic information on the Internet. On that first day in 1998 there were zero visits to the newly created chiropractic domain name, and more than 3650 days later, those numbers have thankfully grown higher. Being that we are reaching our 10 year launch date anniversary, I chose to screenshot the websites log files for the month of November, as a historical snapshot. While this is a potentially bland post, it may help you learn something about basic site statistics.

The Center for Academics at Parker College of Chiropractic organized the 12th Annual Food Drive in conjunction with the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB). Parker College participates in the annual food drive as a way to show their support for the surrounding communities. “Parker College has such a great history of donating large amounts because of the generosity and service mentality,” said Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College of Chiropractic.
