Two chiropractic events are taking place in Los Angeles at the end of September, with one being held on the Eastside in Pasadena, and the other on the west side in Culver City, California. They may be local events to those practicing in the Los Angeles area, but chiropractors are traveling from across the country to come speak at the Friday Saturday event in Culver City. Both events are a great opportunity for meeting other local chiropractors, getting some spizz, and staying focused on practicing chiropractic and serving the masses in Los Angeles.
The first of the 2 events takes place on Thursday, September 29, in Pasadena, California. It’s part of the Chiropractors on the Road to Excellence (CORE) meetings put on at the office of Dr. Dennis Buckley. Thursday’s event features Dr. Russ Rosen.

On why the event was created Yamamoto writes…
Chiropractic Connect Conference came about because of the need for quarterly Principled Chiropractic Philosophy meetings with a home on the West Coast. Connect would like to publicly acknowledge and thank Dr. Billy DeMoss from Cal Jam in helping plant the seed for Connect.
At this last Cal Jam in February 2011, Billy and I had discussed the need for regular chiropractic philosophy meetings here in Southern California. Billy jokingly suggested that I run with the idea, in that I wasn’t a very busy guy and had lots of free time on my hands. Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m a very busy guy, but it’s the guys who are busy who get things done. If you ever need anything done, don’t ask a guy with lots of time on his hands, it won’t get done.
So, after careful thought, prayer and talks with both my D.E. brothers and blessings from Dr. Jim Dubel founder of New Beginnings, Connect was born. (Thanks Outlaw). There are some chiropractic philosophy meetings that don’t like to integrate or discuss the business side of practice in that they think it’s not pure. We can appreciate their opinion, but don’t agree in that there are way too many chiropractors who are struggling in practice because they don’t know what it is that they are supposed to be doing in practice.
There are plenty of chiropractors who know chiropractic philosophy forwards and backwards, but recite the Green Books all day long to an empty office. Chiropractic philosophy is an ABSOLUTE necessity, but this alone will not guarantee a strong principled chiropractic practice.
