Catch the Wave at Life Chiropractic College West

By Michael Dorausch, D.C.

Here is info for the Catch The Life West Wave August 2012, below is info from the 2011 event.

Spotted this in an e-mail the other day and wanted to share it with other chiropractors. The date is August 5 and 6, 2011 in San Francisco California, and the event is The Wave, presented by Life Chiropractic College West. 12 hours of continuing education credit will be available for chiropractors.

Life West Wave San Francisco CaliforniaThe Life West Wave event replaces the Life West homecoming that was typically held in the month of October. The unique two-day event includes more than 30 visionaries in chiropractic. The event will also feature the inauguration of Dr. Brian Kelly, the new president of Life Chiropractic College West. There will be social activities including a “Life West Luau” and 12 hours of continuing education credit will be made available to chiropractors (check your state licensing requirements).

Besides continuing education credits, there will be a full day chiropractic assistant program featuring four speakers. The event provides a chance for chiropractors and staff to connect with the ultimate lineup of chiropractic leaders. Attendees will also get to experience the launch of Life West’s new vision – Life West 2.0.

Life West Wave Hayward CaliforniaHosted by Life Chiropractic College West, The Wave will deliver the perfect pipeline with a high-impact experience leaving you breathless!

The event will be held at the Oakland Marriott City Center (1001 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94607), which is about 18 miles from the chiropractic college campus in Hayward California. I’ve flown into Oakland airport (OAK) many times (mostly for Raiders games) and it looks like the Marriott City Center should be easy to get to from Oakland International Airport. The hotel is about 10 miles from the airport.

August 5 and 6 is a Friday and Saturday, a great time of year to be in the San Francisco / Oakland area, as the weather can be terrific. Too bad the event is several days prior to the 2011 preseason NFL schedule, since one could catch a game in either Oakland or San Francisco, but that’s no reason to stop anyone from being at this chiropractic event.

See you there!

  1. Makes it super hard to pass up on a conference when it’s in beautiful San Francisco!

    • Exactly how I feel. I’m due for a visit to the school too, may make it a longer trip and visit the campus and then the event.

  2. That sounds exciting. Wish I could be there. I will just have to focus on local chiropractic event at Life Chiropractic College.

    • Life has lot’s of events so if you’re nearby the campus no problems there. LA to Atlanta not a short trip for me but I still love going since the school (and Georgia) are fun to visit.

  3. It does sound like a hard one to pass up. I’m way over on the East Coast, but I’m starting to think it is the right time for another trip to the Best Coast and San Francisco in Particular. Love the city and the event sound very worthwhile.

    • I agree, this particular event in it’s location makes for a good trip. It’s on my calendar but it’s not a long trip for me, only a 1 hour flight.
