Chiropractic Conference Report for May 2012

Here is this months chiropractic news related to several seminars and conferences taking place throughout the United States. Parker Seminars and the California Chiropractic Association annual convention was held in San Diego this past weekend and it was a spectacular event. As a chiropractor member of the CCA and a long time attendee at Parker Seminars, it's my opinion that the joined effort was a fabulous value for chiropractors. There was continuing education, top-notch speakers, loads of positive energy, and that awesome San Diego sunshine.

Being that San Diego is not a far drive from my office in Los Angeles, and my CCA dues provide opportunities to get continuing education, staying in California for this May combined Parker Seminars CCA Conference was an easy choice. I’ve already posted one seminar photo set to the blog, and there’s more to come. I was ecstatic to see former chiropractic classmates, old chiropractic heroes, and fresh new chiropractic student warriors.

Record Attendance at Sarasota Dynamic Essentials – While I didn’t make it to the April 26 Dynamic Essentials Meeting in Sarasota Florida, the word from DE is that there was a wall-to-wall, standing room only crowd present for Drs. Sid and Nell Williams. There was a Thursday night video presentation featuring Dr. Sid Williams from a 1980s Life Chiropractic College student assembly. According to DE, students from five chiropractic institutions were in attendance for the Florida event. I remember the days in the early 90s when a few classmates and myself would make the journey from Los Angeles to Atlanta to attend Dynamic Essentials meetings. They helped shape my future in chiropractic.

There is more to come for chiropractic in the month of May. The Palmer College West Chiropractic Homecoming begins on Friday, May 18 and takes place through Sunday, May 20. The event features 20 hours of continuing education presented by an amazing lineup of chiropractic speakers, and it’s being hosted in Santa Clara, California.

Another event for principled chiropractors is going to be the Georgia Council of Chiropractic 31st Annual Convention taking place in Atlanta, Georgia. The chiropractic convention and expo is from July 27 through July 29 and it’s being held at the Mall of Georgia Conference Center. There’s continuing education credits available and several great speakers already on the schedule.

Living in Venice Beach, you’re more likely to find me catching waves in July, and in August I’ll be catching the Life West Wave in northern California. I had a blast at the 2011 Life West Wave was amazed by the turnout of spizzed chiropractors.

Outside the world of chiropractic you’ll find me speaking at SMX Advanced Seattle 2012 on June 5th. I’ll be on the Hardcore Local SEO Tactics track, and I believe the event is sold out. I will likely post material from my local search presentation to my personal site soon after the conference.

That’s my update for the month of May, make it a spectacular month!
