On this Easter Sunday 2009 I’m awaiting a flight back to Los Angeles and checking statistics on chiropractic classifieds while enjoying free wifi in the Las Vegas airport. A brief check on classified ad listings and I noticed there’s 502 Practices posted for sale. Doesn’t look like things are slowing down from the 2008 record listings of classified ad postings.
The All Category for Chiropractor Practices for Sale is showing 502 active advertisements, these are practice related ads that are mostly for chiropractic offices in the United States. There are some international ad listings as well, but in my experience, nearly everything posted is for chiropractic clinics and offices in the USA.
Five Hundred Plus classifieds for offices is no small number, considering there are less than an estimated 30,000 chiropractic offices in the US. Doing some internal site searching I see that in 2007 there was a December post showing 479 chiropractor practices for sale. That’s well over a year ago, and numbers have been climbing steadily since around that time.
Chiropractor+Practices+for+Sale should load the complete list of practices on the market currently. There are offices in Connecticut, Florida, Michigan, Indiana, Texas, California, Iowa, Washington, Ohio, Utah, Arizona, and many other states.

I still like how a real estate agent used online video to show off a Peterborough Chiropractor office he had listed online. The video is not super fancy but I admittedly viewed it several times just to check out the office and home living space.
In November 2008 we screenshot some new ads placed and pointed out 11 chiropractic office listings had been made, with a report that the number of offices listed at that time was 794. Nearly 300 more than 502, I suspect ownership for hundreds of US chiropractic offices have changed hands during the past year and a half.
