On May 5th chiropractors were invited to post a simple comment on a chiropractic blog post, and 70 have participated as of today’s date. The post was intended to help educate chiropractors as to the value of reputation management and online branding of their small businesses. While many companies could charge handsomely for such a service, Planet Chiropractic wanted to give back to the community and continue the promotion of local chiropractors throughout the world.
The news story on Dr. James Von Hipple and the opening of his new chiropractic practice in Murrieta California was the first nonofficial post of the summer series.

By simply sharing his contact information, we were able to inquire about his practice and his thoughts on being a chiropractor. Dr. Von Hipple shared a number of photographs which demonstrated the creation of his new chiropractic practice. Posts like the one created showing the different slides of his office in development, are valuable to chiropractic students, and those in the field that may be soon in a similar situation. I think it’s great to see how chiropractic offices take shape as design fundamentals are an important part of building one’s office. I look forward to seeing a number of related articles appearing on Planet Chiropractic this summer.
Also as a result of the commenting, watch for the California Chiropractors page to receive some updates, along with several of the other state directory pages. Besides California, there were chiropractors commenting that practice in Illinois, Texas, Toronto, Florida, Washington, Utah, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Melbourne Australia, Newmarket Ontario, Michigan, and other locations throughout the globe.
It’s not too late for chiropractors to participate, but we are going to provide stories from the initial list of chiropractors first, before we begin a second round of news entries. Depending on how fast chiropractors respond to our authors questions about their practices, and the communities they serve, one could expect to see between two and five featured articles per week appearing on Planet Chiropractic throughout this summer. Not too shabby since we’ll be celebrating nine years of providing chiropractic news posts, as of June 21, 2008. All chiropractic news archives continue to be available.
