We Are All Adjusting

By Super CA Lynne

This week my 5 year old said, “Mommy, you have the bestest job ever, you get to make people better.” In Tucker’s eyes when he wakes up in the middle of the night, then wakes me up in the middle of the night and says he needs an adjustment, I do my Mommy adjustment (until we can get to see Dr. D.) then he says he is better and goes back to sleep. Now I know that I didn’t physically adjust Tucker but his love and faith in me told him that I did.

And I guess that if intent can move a bone then he is well. If all the love in the world can move a bone then every time I touch, hug or hold my children, or tell my patients how great they look, or ask them how their day was or remember a conversation we had last time they were in and take part in making their lives just a little bit better and they start to heal, then I do have “the bestest job and I am adjusting.” We are all adjusting.

We need to take the time to see our lives through the eyes of a five-year-old. Tucker was in the yard this past weekend very excited with the first snow fall. He started to make snow angels and dogs, he told me he was giving them a spine so they could be well too. (our dog gets adjusted every week)

I guess we never realize the true impact we have on the life of a child. Chiropractic is my life and my family has always been a part of that. When I look around at other family members and friends who are not under care and see what their quality of life is like compared to my families it’s hard for me to understand why they are not under care. The good Lord knows how much I talk about Chiropractic at every family function so it is really hard for me to understand why they don’t get it. It sure makes me sleep easier at night knowing my kids have been raised in a Chiropractic family and they will pass that on to their children.

“You have to count on living every single day in a way you believe will make you feel good about your life. So that if it were over tomorrow, you’d be content with the way you lived today!”

Have a wonderful holiday season; enjoy your family and friends. I wish you peace, love, happiness and healing in 2002. You are doing a great job, keep spreading the love.

Chiropractic is Life!!!

Love and Hugs, Super CA Lynne
