From D.D. Palmer to Haavik: How Chiropractic Care Enhances Brain Function and Innate Intelligence

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. For over a century, chiropractic care has evolved from a pioneering theory to a scientifically supported practice, connecting the dots between spinal health, brain function, and the body’s innate ability to heal. From D.D. Palmer’s foundational work in 1895 to B.J. Palmer’s advancements in the early 20th century, and now to…

innate inside – intelligence processor

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. Chiropractic students that attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles (CCCLA) with me in the 1990s may remember this design that became popular on T-shirts distributed to chiropractic students throughout the nation. If my memory serves correctly this image was from a scan of one of the first tee shirts that…

Subluxation Intelligence and Objective Principles of Energy Healing

I thought I’d share some articles from the past on topics such as subluxation, healing, energy, retracing, innate intelligence, objectivism and faith in chiropractic. Following is an assortment of articles organized in no particular fashion, authored by chiropractors and chiropractic assistants (and maybe even a chiropractic student or two), during the past decade or so

The Innate Chiropractic Force is Within You

In the original movie from the Star Wars series, the mission to destroy the Death Star approaches. Luke Skywalker is apprehensive and nervous. Then we hear the distinct voice of his mentor and teacher, Obi Wan Kenobi, in his head “The force is with you, always.” This reassures and calms Luke as he departs. From that famous line, “May the force be with you” became a familiar catch phrase.

The Basis of Chiropractic as I see it…

Chiropractic is based upon the simple principle that the body naturally strives toward health. This is the normal expression of the body’s innate intelligence. The nerve system’s primary responsibility is to coordinate this process. If one of the bones of the spine becomes misaligned (subluxated), the nerve system is interfered with and this striving toward health and harmonious function is lessened. Simply put, the body, whatever it’s state or level of health, is better off with a good nerve supply.

How Chiropractic Echoes Inner Alchemy

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. The Spine as a Conduit of Divine Light: Chiropractic Philosophy & Taoist Inner Alchemy The human spine has long been a focal point in both scientific and spiritual traditions, serving as a bridge between the physical and metaphysical realms. Two distinct yet resonant perspectives on the spine can be seen in…

Vibrations of Vitality: Jean-Martin Charcot and D.D. Palmer on Tuning Forks, Tone, and the Hermetic Principle of Vibration

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. In the late 19th century, as science and spirituality converged to unravel the mysteries of human vitality, pioneers Jean-Martin Charcot and Daniel David Palmer explored the nervous system’s role in health through the lens of vibration. Charcot, the founder of modern neurology, used tuning forks to probe hysteria and hypnosis at…

Modern Coherence Training

Bridging Cosmic Energy, Psychoanalysis, and Modern Coherence Training

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. In the late 19th century, as the world grappled with the mysteries of the unconscious mind, Daniel David Palmer (1845–1913) founded chiropractic, a discipline that would intertwine the physical and metaphysical in a quest to understand life’s vital forces. This era, marked by intellectual giants like Emil Kraepelin, Sigmund Freud, Carl…

Chiropractic Cures Man Born Without Ears

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. In a world where medicine clings to its rigid, physicalist dogma (often dismissing miracles as impossibilities), one man’s astonishing historic story shatters doubters and ignites the soul. William Blair Hill, born in 1912 without ears, was condemned by physicians to a life of silence. “Incurable,” they declared, their stethoscopes blind to…

The Nervous System: A Vibratory Conduit from Palmer to Dispenza

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. The nervous system, a network of brain, spine, and nerves, has long been more than a biological marvel. For over a century, thinkers have seen it as a bridge between the physical and Universal Intelligence, a subtle force animating life. From D.D. Palmer’s chiropractic origins to Joe Dispenza’s modern neuroscience, this…

Hands-On Chiropractic: Restoring the Vital Touch in an Isolated, AI-Driven Age

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. Beneath the skin lies a silent language, a vibratory code woven into our nervous system that speaks of connection, trust, and life itself. Social touch (warm, skin-to-skin contact) unlocks this code, igniting a cascade of oxytocin, the hormone that binds us to one another. Science reveals the mechanism: C-tactile afferents, delicate…

We Are Beings of Light: Chiropractic’s Vitalistic Roots and the Quantum Connection

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. We are quite literally beings of light. This profound statement resonates deeply with the chiropractic philosophy pioneered by D.D. Palmer in 1895 and expanded by his son, B.J. Palmer, in the early 20th century. It speaks to a vitalistic worldview – one that sees life as more than a mechanical interplay…

Hemispheric Balancing

Brain Harmony Through Time: The Evolution of Hemispheric Balancing

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. The concept of hemispheric balancing – synchronizing the brain’s left and right hemispheres to optimize mental, emotional, and physical health – has deep roots in scientific curiosity and holistic healing. From its origins in the 19th century to its modern expressions, this idea reflects a persistent quest to “tune” the nervous…

Founded on Tone: The Vibratory Legacy of Palmer, Becker, and Bentov

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. “Founded on Tone” opens D.D. Palmer’s 1910 textbook The Chiropractor’s Adjuster, a declaration that chiropractic rests on the principle of vibratory life. Palmer, the founder of chiropractic, saw “tone” as the optimal tension or vitality of the nervous system – particularly the spinal cord – through which “innate intelligence” flows to…

I would imagine many industries have inner circles that add stacks of bonus points to already existing advantages of being in a particular profession, and in my experience, the inner circle chiropractic program offers some ginormous bonus points.
