While millions of Americans tune in to see their favorite artists accept awards, the musical performances are often the highlight of the evening.

There is a long list of American Music Award nominees, represented by multiple different categories. Among those nominated for awards are Garth Brooks (nominated for Favorite Male Artist in country music and Favorite Album in country music), Mariah Carey (nominated for Favorite Female Artist in pop or rock music and Favorite Album in Soul / Rhythm & Blues Music), Kenny Chesney (nominated for Favorite Male Artist in country music), Foo Fighters (nominated for Favorite Artist in alternative rock music), Kid Rock (nominated for Favorite Male Artist in pop or rock music), Lil Wayne (nominated for Artist of the Year in rap / hip-hop music and Favorite Album in rap / hip-hop music). Chances are, a local chiropractor in your area is providing care for musicians. In places like New York City (especially Manhattan) and Los Angeles, chiropractors providing care to those performing in the music industry, is very common. It’s also not uncommon for chiropractors to be on call at stadiums and sports arenas for musical events. Some performers even travel with their chiropractors. In the 1990s, Mega rock ‘n roll band Guns n Roses (long-awaited Chinese Democracy was released today), had a tour chiropractor. The current Death Magnetic Metallica tour also has a chiropractor (gives new meaning to headbanging whiplash) on board.

Congratulations from planetchiropractic.com to all performing artist’s nominated for AMA Music Awards in 2008!
