It was September of 1895 when Daniel David Palmer, founder of chiropractic, made the first spinal adjustment. Before that time there were no chiropractors in the United States, or anywhere else in the world. D.D. Palmer introduced the world to what he called “Chiropractic,” a new natural health care system intended to get sick people well and keep the well from getting sick.
The idea of candy eating chiropractors is not one that would be very popular for a number of reasons. When it comes to eating and chiropractic, it’s more likely for you to hear your chiropractor speak of Sun Chlorella, Super Greens, Mangosteen Juice, or some other product loaded with phytonutrients, probiotics, and/or immune boosting nutrients.
There’s been a firestorm of discussion going on today related to a new video campaign by the makers of Motrin. Going to be one hell of a week for those in the reputation management department at Johnson & Johnson, the makers of Motrin. I’m not getting into the Motrin Mom campaign discussion here, visit the blog for my thoughts on the campaign and major headache side effects.
I hate to say NO. Especially when I’m asked to do something that I can do. I hate to say NO especially to my kids. I want to be able to do it all, all of the time. When I don’t get a clear picture and plan for what is important to me then I will fall on my butt. That simple, I have tested it time and time again. I can’t be all things to all people. I’ve got to be willing to delegate. I’ve got to be willing to say not now. I’ve got to be willing to say NO.
