Back in 1997 while still a student at NYCC, a new dad to his oldest son, Bryant (now 12), and a superhero fanatic, Dr. Vic Naumov,DC dreamed of creating and utilizing superheroes to teach the children of the world about chiropractic history and its’ healthcare benefits. Armed with nothing more than a pencil and a dream, Dr. Vic created The Chiro-Squad, Guardians of the 33 Chiropractic Principles! Specifically named for the three regions of the spine, Cervico, Thoracico and Lumbardo were born.

North of Toronto Canada is the city of Vaughan. Sometimes referred to as “The city above Toronto,” Vaughan is part of the greater Toronto area and its population has been growing rapidly since the early 1990s, making it one of southern Ontario’s fastest-growing cities. More people has meant more traffic on highways 400 and 7, which will both get you to Interchange Way and the chiropractic practice of Dr. Ruminder Birk.

California is a place where chiropractic care appears to be growing increasingly popular and there are doctors of chiropractic practicing in many different parts of the state. Some practice in or nearby coastal communities such as San Francisco, Monterey, Oxnard, Huntington Beach, Oceanside, San Diego, and others, while others opt for the northern borders of Mexico, and even the southern borders of Oregon. Then there’s the inland chiropractic locations like Riverside, Victorville, Bakersfield, Modesto, and Fresno. One California chiropractor on the list is Dr. Steven Hansen of Elk Grove.

Dr. Ronen Mendi, a chiropractor in Israel, travels to the South District to provide care to children and their families in the city of Sderot. The city is located less than a mile from Gaza and has been an ongoing target of Qassam rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip. While chiropractic was born and first made popular in Davenport Iowa, the birthplace of the world’s first chiropractor was Canada. Today there are about as many chiropractors practicing in Canada as there are in the state of California. The country features two educational facilities offering chiropractic degrees, with the majority of graduates practicing within Canada’s borders.
