When it comes to sending media releases online, what goes for other industries also goes for the industry of chiropractic. Those that send out news releases and media information, can expect to see an increase in website related traffic. News releases can be seen on Planet Chiropractic several times a week, and sources range from chiropractic schools to chiropractic organizations and nonprofit groups. News releases are sometimes submitted by chiropractors practicing the field, but there is room for how-to learning, by studying what’s being approved when it comes to chiropractic news releases.

ICPA Asks: Is Chiropractic Safe for Children? The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) has launched it’s Practiced Based Research Network Phase II: Children’s Safety. All licensed chiropractors who see children are invited to participate.

On March 3, 2009, ABC aired a piece on chiropractic care and children, “Crack! Kids Head to the Chiropractor”. Reporter David White interviewed an ICPA member, Dr Beth Forgosh and several parents of her patients. He also interviewed Lonnie Zeltzer, MD for her expert opinion on non-allopathic therapies.

With all the popularity of chiropractic care for headaches, back pain, and neck pain, the general public often misses out on care that addresses the needs of children and their families. We see the television reports regarding research studies showing upper cervical chiropractic care for the lowering of blood pressure, we hear testimonials from world class and Olympic athletes as to the benefits of them receiving regular chiropractic adjustments, we can even view online videos of TV hosts like Montel Williams giving testimonials on chiropractic care for conditions such as multiple sclerosis, but let’s not forget the kids.
