Upcoming Articles and Suggestions

By Michael Dorausch, D.C.

Greetings all,
I’m working on several upcoming articles and your input is greatly appreciated in helping me to better present the information to our readers. I have listed a few of the articles below along with some of the questions that are being asked. I have provided email links so that you can simply click and respond to any of the topics in question. Thank you in advance for participating. – Michael

Choosing a Chiropractic College
I’ve written several articles on this topic before and I find myself answering numerous e-mails regarding the subject of choosing a chiropractic college. I’d like your input. For the chiropractors that are out in practice, you can help many prospective students.

Knowing what you know now, how would you choose a chiropractic college?
In today’s healthcare environment, what chiropractic college would you attend and why?
What are the most important things you believe chiropractic students should focus on while in chiropractic college?
Do you have any tips or suggestions that may help prospective chiropractic students?

Please send your response emails to: [email protected]

For students that are in chiropractic college, you can provide some valuable information as well.

Are you happy with the chiropractic college you have chosen to attend?
If you were to make the choice again, do you believe you would choose the same school?
What do you find are the greatest aspects and/or features offered at the school you attend?
What limitations if any do you find at the school you attend?

Please send your response emails to: [email protected]

Medically Owned D.C. Businesses & Conflicts of Interest

This is a hot topic and I appreciate your input on the subject regardless of your background. Do you feel that a medically owned chiropractic company should disclose such information?

For example, if Planet Chiropractic were owned by a medical doctor or group of medical doctors (it is not) do you think it would be important for us to disclose that information to you?
Would you feel comfortable giving your personal information and/or patient information to a chiropractic company that was owned by a medical doctor or group of medical doctors?
Do you feel that medically owned chiropractic companies present a potential conflict of interest?

Getting the most out of your chiropractic web site
This topic applies to chiropractors students and staff, I would really appreciate your feedback on this topic. I get e-mails regarding this topic nearly every day and I find myself on the phone talking to chiropractors at length about their chiropractic web sites quite often.

It appears as though there are several misconceptions about how the Internet and web sites work. I’d like to help you learn how you can best use your web site as a tool to promote your practice. (no, I am not designing chiropractic websites)

Do you have questions regarding:

ways to market your web site?
ways to enhance your web site?
ways to get your web site better noticed?
ways to get your web site used more frequently?
ways to teach your staff basic web site tasks or related tasks?
ways to learn basic web site tasks or related tasks for yourself?
ways to effectively use e-mail in communicating with your patients or practice members?

Are you happy with your current website?
Are you still undecided as to whether or not you should get a chiropractic website?

If you are not a chiropractor, please email and let me know what kinds of information you would want most available on a chiropractic website.

Please send your response emails to: [email protected]

Send me e-mails so we can explore these topics in greater detail and better provide you with the answers to your many questions. The best of health to you! – Michael
