Published articles by year
Years use each article’s original WordPress post date (wp_post_date), not the migration timestamp. The table below is the live count as of November 6, 2026 and sums to 2,940 dated articles (every published article now has an original date on file). The chart image was drawn from an earlier pass and may differ slightly on 2026 (live table includes this post).

Busiest years
Articles (original post dates): 2008 (503), 2007 (351), 2001 (324).
Events (by event start year, excluding Facebook-imported listings that clustered in 2018): 2003 (156), 2002 (135), 2009 (113). Of the 1,599 published events in the sitemap, 249 are Facebook imports; the per-year figures above cover the other 1,350.
Classifieds (by published date year): the largest single year in the database is 2022 (8,649). That spike reflects a bulk import into the archive, not 8,649 new classifieds written that year — treat 2022 as an import artifact. Next busiest dated years: 2023 (1,006), 2017 (903), 2016 (765).
