Chiropractor Dies After Being Found Shot in Head on Pomona Freeway

Pomona, CA — Rancho Cucamonga Chiropractor, Deborah Lynn Lepper, was found in her vehicle on a Los Angeles area freeway Thursday night, around 10:30 p.m. The 54-year-old female chiropractor had been shot in the head while driving on the 10 Freeway in Pomona. Police are seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down whoever shot and killed Dr. Lepper.

According to news reports, Dr. Lepper was driving on the 10 freeway near White Avenue in Pomona around 10:30 p.m., Thursday night. She was in the eastbound lanes when she was shot in the head and lost control of her grey 2004 Chrysler Sebring. After being shot, her vehicle drifted into the far right hand lane and crashed into the freeway wall.

Someone reportedly witnessed the car crashing into the wall but they did not know that Dr. Lepper had been shot. According to CHP Captain Bill Siegl, someone had stopped to render assistance to Dr. Lepper, but there is currently no witness to the shooting.

Family members say the chiropractor was a giving, loving woman who was known for helping at risk kids in her hometown of Pomona. Her family and the California Highway Patrol hope that someone has information that will lead them to the person responsible for her death. Sadly, her son was reportedly killed in car accident just one year ago.
