The Murfreesboro Post in Tennessee featured a post regarding a chiropractor offering low force care to residents in the area. Dr. Sherri Prestwich, a graduate of Life University in Marietta, Georgia, is practicing a low-force chiropractic technique called Directional Non-Force Technique.

According to the article, Directional Non-Force Technique “uses the body’s natural reflexes to indicate the misalignment of structures that are producing nerve interference.”

The hometown newspaper of Rochester, New York, The Democrat and Chronicle, has an article about businesses opening and closing in the Rochester, New York area. A new chiropractic office and wellness center, One Life Chiropractic, which is located at 3300 Monroe Avenue, made the announcements of new businesses opening.

Ontario’s Caledon Enterprise had a brief mention Saturday for Southview Chiropractic Centre and Caledon Women’s round-robin playoff action. Mandy Clemens scored four goals against Cucci’s Hair Salon.

The Austin Daily Herald announces that Business Network International (BNI) and Wellness 1st Chiropractic are cohosting a business card exchange in Austin on Monday. The event includes refreshments and prizes, including a queen size mattress and box spring set from a local furniture and design gallery. The local Austin BNI chapter meets from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holiday Inn of Austin.

The Sioux City Journal has an announcement regarding Cedar Park Chiropractic and young chiropractor, Justin Swanson. Dr. Justin Swanson recently graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and he’s now practicing with his brothers Drs. Jeff and Jon Swanson, at Cedar Park Chiropractic in Austin, Texas. Congrats to Dr. Justin and his chiropractic family!

Washington’s Yakima Herald has a brief mention regarding the Lally Chiropractic Clinic and the addition of Dr. Scott Lally to the office’s staff. Dr. Scott is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic and he is the son of Dr. Thomas Lally, who operates the clinic.

Bloomington Illinois newspaper, The Pantograph, features a story of a 23-year-old distance runner named Brandon Moen. According to the article, Moen (pronounced mown) is built for speed. The Montgomery, Minnesota native was a three-time high school all starter before attending Morningside College in Sioux City Iowa. He has two big upcoming races on his schedule, the June 14 Peoria Steamboat Classic 4-miler and the July 26 Bix 7-miler at Davenport, Iowa.

According to the post, he averages from 80 to 90 miles of training per week, under the guidance of his running coach. Even with that amount of training, overuse injuries have not been a problem for the young runner, who receives chiropractic care and vitamin supplement support from his primary sponsor, Align Life Chiropractic (located in Bloomington).
