Plastic Spine Keychains

By Michael Dorausch, D.C.

There was a Chiropractic Christmas Tree news post on Planet Chiropractic today with a mention about spinal keychains that we hand out in my LA office. The photos shown did not show the keychains so well and someone had emailed me asking about them. I found photos I already took of the key chains so here is one below.

Spine Keychains – I don’t have the info handy as to where we purchase these but they are not expensive. I’ve searched online and there are at least 3 different companies selling these. If you are ordering them make sure you get the larger sized keychains (shown below) vs the small ones. The smaller spine keychains look odd (at least to me) and don’t have as much room for text either.

They go really quick and some patients have asked to get replacements as they use them until the information wears off. That’s one of the down sides (that the phone numbers eventually wear off). They are made of hard plastic and have been really durable. Great for branding. Great as unique gifts. Great for all those single keys you have laying around.

We’ve also done custom neck pillows and a number of other products. I’ll search out some of my old photos and post them so you can get some marketing ideas.

West LA Chiropractors See Many of These

By Michael Dorausch, D.C.

I don’t know about the rest of the world but here in West Los Angeles there is an abundance of tattoo parlors and related facilities. In this area it’s not uncommon to see tattoos of all sorts of colors, shapes and sizes, on people from all different age groups and backgrounds.

Below is a photograph of some sort of artistic tattoo appearing on a young womans spine, in the area of her sacrum, iliac crests, and lower lumbar vertebrae. That L4, L5 and S1 for those of you that want to be technical.

I don’t know what this is a tattoo of but we’re going to begin collecting photos of tattoos that appear on people’s backs and put together a spine focused tattoo page.

Here is another view of the same tattoo but I can’t make out what it is. It’s a nice design that uses a single color. I can say that the table she is lying on is a Lloyd 402 chiropractic drop table (any chiropractor can see that).

I’ll likely be posting all of photos of tattoos I receive to the photo category on this blog.
