At Planet Chiropractic we receive questions about attending chiropractic colleges on a regular basis. I don’t always have the answers or the time to reply to all emails received but I’m working on putting a few aside to answer here, so that others can hopefully get answers to similar questions. The latest comes from a pre-medical student with concerns about chemistry classes.
Some chiropractors remember the days when the only choices in advertising office equipment for sale was to fill out a form in the back of a chiropractic journal. They’d wait for the next issue to come out (sometimes only quarterly) and hope their items sold. Then the magazines came and filled chiropractic mailboxes with reams of paper mailings, followed by endless faxes promising financial freedom by using latest the gadgets. Now those toxic assets clutter office storage areas and the luxury car purchases have been put on hold.
Sometimes things don’t get used as you thought they would. Something truly interesting about the chiropractic classifieds on Planet Chiropractic has been the number of jobs posted during the past year. While the position of chiropractor or chiropractic associate is a common one, jobs for medical doctors, chiropractic assistants, xray technicians, school faculty, online marketing managers, inhouse local search marketers, massage therapists, and others have been appearing in ads more frequently these past 365ish days. Pretty awesome to think people are getting hired from ads their finding on the site. Not that jobs are the only category, we received a happy email today from an office that sold all their x-ray equipment, which made several parties happy.
Parker College of Chiropractic announced plans to establish a Stay Fit Seniors (SFS) facility within the Parker College Wellness Clinics, making Parker the first chiropractic college to embrace this program. Parker will join SFS in its mission to help thousands of chiropractors help millions of seniors.
