Nothing warms the heart like old love stories. While enjoying morning room service at the luxurious Hyatt Regency La Jolla I was reviewing Planet Chiropractic news articles related to the topic of love and service. I thought I’d find two or three articles from Valentines past, but that was not the case. Instead, I discovered dozens of articles by chiropractors (and chiropractic assistants) on topics ranging from a love for practice, a love for service, a love for life, and a love for each other.

Law to Practice Chiropractic Enacted in Italy

The Associazione Italiana Chiropratici (AIC) has announced that 17 years after the presentation of the first law proposal for professional recognition, on December 21, 2007, chiropractic was recognized by the Italian Parliament as a primary health care profession. For more than three decades, the AIC has led a determined struggle to secure this vitally important legal recognition for chiropractic, in the face of equally determine medical opposition.

International Chiropractic Pediatric Association Continues Growth

The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) is on a continued growth spurt and may soon become the largest organization representing chiropractors worldwide. While membership numbers in some US based national chiropractic associations have been dipping downward, membership in the ICPA has been continuing to grow, putting the Pennsylvania based international organization on track to become the largest professional organization to represent chiropractors and chiropractic students worldwide.
