Luis Ocon, D.C. — Panama, 1998, shortly after the interview.

Luis Ocon, D.C., spoke to students at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles (CCCLA) in 1998, on a visit back to the school he graduated from. Running time: 16:27. The photo above is from Panama shortly after that interview — see also our CREW chiropractic missions to Panama.

In the talk, Luis Ocon, D.C., tells the students he graduated in 1991 but did not really become a chiropractor until about 1995, when he learned the principle behind chiropractic. He talks about staying principled, about chiropractic as removing interference to the nervous system rather than treating symptoms or curing disease, and about educating patients, including making the office "a temple to chiropractic."

He describes opening his own practice in 1995, getting rid of the therapy equipment he had worked with, and being mentored by James Sigafoose, D.C. He closes by urging students to find a mentor, go to seminars and stick to their principles.
