James Isaacson, Life University head rugby coach, says, “Hosting the national championship game is a prestigious event for the University. It’s very exciting for the players and the students.” Life University and San Francisco Golden Gate have enjoyed a healthy rivalry over the past two seasons, with SFGG having edged Life in the national championship game in 2009, as well as earning a slim victory over Life in the semifinals a year ago. Says Isaacson, “Both teams are very familiar with each other, which makes this game that much more exciting. Our players are well aware of the last two results against SFGG, and they are ready to turn the tables on Saturday.”

The game will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday on the Life University campus, and the pre-game tailgate party will begin at 1:00 p.m. Admission is $5 per person.

Media interested in attending the game, should contact Craig Dekshenieks, Life University’s Director of Communications at (770) 426-2833.
