A handful of brilliant research folk at Google have finally done it, they’ve switched on the world’s first “artificial intelligence” tasked array computing system, formerly known as CADIE.

According to the Announcement from Google, which was made on March 31st, 2009 11:59:59pm, a small research group has been working on the project for several years, faced with challenges in the areas of natural language, neural networking, and autonomous problem solving.

There is concern that CADIE may have bugs

The Google research team goes into great detail surrounding the technical specifications of CADIE, including interconnected evolving agents, probabilistic Bayesian domains and a realistic world from which to learn. This is a bigger discovery than that of Vertebral Subluxation, it’s the worlds first evolving intelligent system.

Science as we know it, may never be viewed the same way again.
