Therapeutic Healing Workshops and X-Ray License Renewal

I received one of those super large color and glossy postcards today from a place called the Soul Blazing Sanctuary in Sherman Oaks, California. One of my celebrity actor clients from Encino was just asking if I knew a good chiropractor in the Sherman Oaks area, and I gave him phone numbers for Michael and Patrick. They are both great chiropractors. Back to the card… According to the postcard, the soul blazing sanctuary holds weekend workshops as well as life coaching sessions. They’re offering evenings with special guest healers, swami’s, and different teachers related to the space of healing and soul blazing. Looks like interesting stuff.

I also received a mailer regarding radiology license renewal for chiropractors from one of my old x-ray instructors at Cleveland Chiropractic College in LA. This is one of those 12 credits continuing education programs with dates coming up in Burbank, Costa Mesa, Hacienda Heights, Ontario, Riverside, Thousand Oaks, San Diego, and Los Angeles. Early registration fees are 150 bucks and it looks like registration at the door is $225. This is an eight hour continuing education program incorporating x-ray, and there’s an additional four hour adjusting technique, which is geared towards extremities. There was no web site information but the phone number for registration is 626-913-3013.

Also got a fax late today for a small claims court collection workshop being held at the Holiday Inn in downtown San Diego (1617 1st Ave, San Diego, CA 92101) on Monday, November 19, along with some follow-up seminars in locations such as Sacramento, San Francisco, and Union City, California. This program doesn’t appear to be designed for chiropractors but it looked like a workshop that may be beneficial to various business owners. The fax mentions contractors, office managers, rental outlets, heating and AC companies, and those in property management. The toll-free number included on the fax was 866-705-9264.
