The consensus among popular Hollywood celebrities is that voting is absurd, voting is ridiculous, and you should not vote. Continue playing Scrabble, online poker, watching porn, or whatever it is you do while at your computer. Don’t believe me? Think I’m making it up? Check out this video and tell five of your friends.

Please, just don’t vote, don’t vote. Seriously what’s the point? Don’t vote really. This is one of the biggest financial disasters in American history. Why would you vote? Who cares? The economy is in the toilet, who gives a shit? Voting is absurd. That’s the words of Hollywood celebrities Jonah Hill, Forest Whitaker, Ellen DeGeneres, Leonardo DiCaprio, Dustin Hoffman, Djimon Hounsou, Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Bacon, Courteney Cox, and others, in getting the message across that voting actually is important and reminding you that you have only days left to get registered to vote (if you haven’t already done so).

Google maps has set up a module for you to easily check out more information on voting in your area. To find your voter registration information and more all you have to do is enter your home address on the left hand corner of the map interface.

Don’t vote unless you care about health care, gun control, women’s rights, rising gas prices, Social Security, welfare, minimum wage, the US economy, gay rights, abortion-rights, polar ice caps, the right to choose, to the right to life, offshore oil drilling, the war on terrorism, financial bailouts, mandatory vaccination programs, government spending, and a number of other topics you might not find as important as playing online Scrabble.

And if you do decide you’re going to watch the vice presidential debate it airs tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern time (that six o’clock for those of you in California). Democratic VP nominee, Sen. Joe Biden, and Republican VP nominee, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, will be seen in a televised debate taking place at Washington University in St. Louis. The Palin Biden debate is being moderated by Gwen Ifill, managing editor of PBS’s Washington Week, and senior correspondent for NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.
