The Parker Alumni Association became the first donor to the newly renamed, Parker University, when the association presented a $5,000 check during a recent board of trustees meeting on campus. Dr. Vincent Scheffler ’07, president of Parker Alumni Association presented the check to Mr. Bill Nardiello, chairman of the Parker University Board of Trustees and Dr. Fabrizio Mancini ’90, president of Parker University, on behalf of its members.

Mexican University Dedicates New Library Honoring Fabrizio Mancini

A public university near Mexico City, the Universidad Estatal Del Valle de Ecatepec (UNEVE), the first institution in the world to offer a Spanish-taught chiropractic program, recently dedicated its new campus library to Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College of Chiropractic. The new building is the official library for the entire university and supports the education of five distinctive careers including acupuncture, chiropractic, gerontology, humanities, and multimedia communication.

Texas Legislature Educated on Vital Chiropractic Profession Issues

A group of more than 50 students, faculty, and staff from Parker College of Chiropractic traveled to the Texas State Capitol in Austin, Texas to educate the Texas Legislature on the value and credibility of the chiropractic profession. The Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA) organized the day at the capitol and encouraged chiropractors to join them in informing lawmakers. Parker representatives jumped at the opportunity to explain to legislators the training and qualifications possessed by doctors of chiropractic.
