The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) is on a continued growth spurt and may soon become the largest organization representing chiropractors worldwide. While membership numbers in some US based national chiropractic associations have been dipping downward, membership in the ICPA has been continuing to grow, putting the Pennsylvania based international organization on track to become the largest professional organization to represent chiropractors and chiropractic students worldwide.

William Meeker, D.C., M.P.H., long-time Palmer administrator, researcher and faculty member, has been named president of Palmer College of Chiropractic’s West Campus in San Jose, California, effective January 3, 2007.

It was September of 1895 when Daniel David Palmer, founder of chiropractic, made the first spinal adjustment. Before that time there were no chiropractors in the United States, or anywhere else in the world. D.D. Palmer introduced the world to what he called “Chiropractic,” a new natural health care system intended to get sick people well and keep the well from getting sick.
