More April Events and ChiroMania Seminars

By Daria Belov

With so many changes in the airline industry, you better make sure your flights are booked and you’re ready to rock ‘n roll in the months of April and May, since some of the hottest chiropractic seminars, conferences, events, and meet ups taking place throughout the United States (and in other parts of the world) are upon us. In previous news, I had organized a list of April seminars and events, but it’s come to my attention that I missed a few. Check the links for more details on any of those you’re planning to attend.

Last month, Dr. Dorausch posted a similar list for events in the month of March and April, and there are two that have not taken place yet. There is the Annual California Jam of 2008 which is taking place at the Orange County performing arts Center, located in Costa Mesa, California. The event is conveniently just minutes away from John Wayne Airport and it features a stellar lineup of chiropractic speakers. This event is expected to be huge, and chiropractors planning on attending are asked to make arrangements for carpooling and transportation in advance. Call your colleagues, the Southern California carpool lanes are faster.

Also in April is the New Beginnings for a New Future Weekend, taking place at the Sheraton Eatontown Hotel and conference center in New Jersey. The event begins on April 24 and goes through April 27, 2008. If you’re not on the West Coast for the California jam, it better be because you are dipping yourself deep in chiropractic philosophy at New Beginnings.

For some reason if you’ve been wondering, many of these events and conferences are not just for chiropractors. Events like those put on by the Dead Chiropractic Society, Schofield Chiropractic Training, Parker Seminars, Dynamic Essentials, and New Beginnings Chiropractic Conferences provide excellent opportunities for spouses, students, staff, patients, practice members, and other people interested in the industry of chiropractic. While some chiropractic events are of a smaller nature, like the Brentwood Spine Philosophy Meetup, others attract hundreds, if not thousands, of professionals from across the globe.

April and May feature a number of chiropractic events, with Lyceum’s, homecomings, chiropractic school related continuing education courses coming in the months of June and July. There is a LaGuardia Schofield Seminar taking place May 3, 2008. There are CCA, California State relicensing seminars, such as one in Fresno, also on May 3, 2008.

The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) pediatric family wellness extravaganza is taking place in Philadelphia the week of May 8th, through May 11. The event features an expert panel of keynotes, including Barbara Loe-Fisher, Steve Marini, and Jeanne Ohm.

For those of you new to Continuing Education tailored towards the chiropractic profession, check with the associations and organizations within your state to see what requirements needed to be met for license renewal.

The May chiropractic calendar also features a Parker Seminars in Montréal Canada beginning on May 15 of 2008. The Parker event will be held at the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure. The California Chiropractic Association has a relicensing event taking place in San Jose the same weekend. That event includes adjusting technique and patient education and it will be held at the Hotel Valencia Santana Row in San Jose, California.

Don’t forget to mention Planet Chiropractic when registering for your chiropractic events, and tell us which ones you love most, so we can share them with the rest of the world. @ 9:41 pm | Article ID: 1208320931
