The 24th Los Angeles Marathon takes place Monday, May 25, 2009. The 93rd Indianapolis 500 Mile Race begins at 1pm Eastern Time at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana. Those on the West Coast should prepare to get up early, if they’re preparing for the thunder of engines roaring, and watching the world’s largest single day sporting event. The Indy 500 will be televised live and available on ABC television stations nationwide.
