Parker Seminars Hosts the Premier Event within Chiropractic

With the dawn of a new presidency, all eyes shift to the escalating health care crisis in America. Many look to the new administration as a beacon of hope for a solution, while others already know the solution has come. In fact, it has been around for more than one hundred years. That solution is chiropractic. Nowhere was that sentiment more evident and alive than at the 2009 Las Vegas Parker Seminars, where more than 3,000 chiropractors gathered to expand their knowledge on this healing art and reignite their passion for serving others through quality health care.

CCGPP on the Proper Use of Guidelines

Recently we were contacted about the appropriateness of individual states endorsing one guideline document over another. While we have no control over how any state association, governmental agency or payor uses or endorses guidelines, we would ask that each executive director and each individual doctor consider the proper use of guidelines and how these important documents potentially impact our profession, both from within and without Chiropractic.

2009 Steelers Super Bowl Parade

The city of Pittsburgh will honor six-time Super Bowl Champion Steelers at noon today in a parade held throughout downtown Pittsburgh. The 2009 Superbowl victory parade will use the same route as Pittsburgh’s St. Patrick’s Day parade, beginning at the Mellon Arena on Center Avenue and Washington Place. The parade is expected to end at the Boulevard of the Allies and Stanwix Street. Streets in downtown Pittsburgh will be closed for several hours before and during the parade. Those attending are urged to use public transportation and make use of river shuttles being offered to the downtown area.
