Practice in Colombia
I am looking for a replacement for my Associate Position in Bogota, Colombia. Bogota is a big city with a booming economy, there are only about 5 chiropractors in the city of 13 million people..The area I live and work in is a stratis 5 out of 6. So it is very upperscale and the 9 months I have been here I have zero crime.. Colombia is now the 3rd largest economy in Latin America. I have lived and worked in Peru and Ecuador for over 5 years also.. The advantages of Bogota and Colombia in general is that it is much more modernized and clean.. Also the GDP per capita is double so you can charge double of Ecuador and Peru.. Since Bogota is a huge city with a greatly improving economy seeing 250 to 300 a week is really not hard. Everything is cash and we charge about 25 dollars per adjustment.. The cost of living is pretty good so it’s a good way to save up money quickly.. The people are friendly in general and Colombia has become a very big tourist area.. Speaking Spanish is highly beneficial obviously..It’s not so easy to get a work visa so I am currently working under another Chiropractor here. You would be taking my position. I work alone while the other Dr. works in Medellin, so I appreciated being able to just run my own clinic without anyone looking over my shoulder. Also I paid the other Dr. a flat fee per month, which is actually very cheap to come in and take over the clinic. We both preferred it this way because then there is no complaining about how much we should be making.. I love South America personally and if you are single either Man or Woman then Colombia is obviously a beautiful place to work and live..
