Whiplash Injury Biomechanics & Traumatology FAQs
1) What will I learn?
Basic biomechanics that you never learned in school. An in-depth understanding of how injuries occur, why they occur, their nature and prognosis, cutting edge diagnostic techniques, how to most effectively manage them, the crucial fundamentals of data management and documentation, and, quite simply, we'll show you how to become THE top expert in your town, period.
2) Who teaches the courses?
Dr. A.C. Croft teaches all of the courses in all cities. Module 4 is co-taught by Alex Gelman, Esq.
3) What is Basic Certification all about?
Basic Certification is granted after attending the four main Module programs. No examination is required, and graduates are then entitled to a free listing on the SRISD website.
4) What about Advanced Certification?
Advanced Certification is the highest level of certification offered by SRISD and entitles you to a special listing on the SRISD website-the most frequently visited website for whiplash and related trauma by physicians, lawyers, insurers, and patients.
5) What will this knowledge do for me?
Apart from your knowledge of auto safety and traumatology, much of the course, such as the diagnostics, documentation, and management sections, translates directly to most other aspects of any clinical practice. And much of what you learn about whiplash trauma will be quite relative to most other forms of trauma, such as falls and work injuries.
6) I don't have a large PI practice. Do I really need this program?
We've been teaching these seminars for more than 30 years - that's 26% of the entire history of the profession of chiropractic and we have always found a close nexus between knowledge/training and the kind of patients one attracts. There is a huge need for skilled practitioners in this field.
