TCA District 10 Meeting

"Ode to Dr Flanagan" Doctor what are you doing every day in your practice?? Do we help patients with our "touch"? "Touch" is not just a "hands-on" touch...it can be the "touch" of your smile, your voice of reassurance in distress, lifting others spirits, hearts and souls, as well lifting their "pain", no matter what form it takes!! We as Chiropractors are only here for a short time and GOD has equipped us with a "gift" to help others...but sometimes we (Doctors) need help ourselves!! This past weekend I attended a memorial of a fellow Chiropractor, Brother Mark Flanagan, he was a warrior for Chiropractic and for his patients! He left us way too soon at the age of 62...but his love for Chiropractic and his patients by serving them and his family was uplifting! Even though I was not a close friend of Mark's, I could see and feel the impact he left behind and am proud to call him a fellow Chiropractic Brother! I am sure that there a lot of us, Fellow Chiro's know other doctors that are like Dr Mark that "touch" many other lives and help them be healthier, happier and Blessed, by being around them! I pray that I can somehow be a better Doctor by knowing Dr Mark and help others, whether it be a patient, friend, family member or someone you just have a small interaction with, that I make their day a little brighter!! Just remember, only GOD knows how long we have on this earth on our journey "home" to be with JESUS...so make each day count and bless others around you!
