Course DescriptionStart implementing Rehab in your office? This is a great starter course that introduces you to rehab, the various components including the Deluxe traction tables. Objectives Provide practitioners with an introduction to Pettibon ReHab that covers the basics of rehab with treatment (Therapeutic Wobble Chair, Cervical Traction, Weighting System, etc.) in 1 day. Learn How To: Prepare spinal soft tissues so that tractiondecompression can be more effective. Perform full spine tractiondecompression. Set up traction so that posterior joints can first be unlocked so that tractiondecompression forces can reach the discs. Incorporate lower extremities during tractiondecompression. Set proper vibration so that spinal muscles will relax sooner requiring shorter treatment times. Educate patients on the use of the tables. Perform post tractiondecompression procedures so that newly gained fluids will not be lost as soon as the patient is again upright after tractiondecompression sessions. Perform post tractiondecompression procedures that reflexly strengthen patient muscles of spinal movement, posture, stance and gait.
