Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel
ZT Technical Services To Host An Advanced Diagnostic Seminar For PhysiciansZT Technical Services, LLC (ZT Technical Services) will present a two-day seminar entitled "In-Office Nerve Conduction Testing for Physicians" in Atlantic City, NJ, May 17-18, 2003. This hands-on seminar will discuss nerve conduction velocity (NCV) studies and their clinical applications. Physicians will learn how common neurological disorders are assessed through electrodiagnostic studies and how electrodiagnosis is used to diagnose disorders such as radiculopathy, plexopathy (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome), peripheral neuropathy (metabolic, endocrine, alcohol/toxic chemical exposure), carpal and tarsal tunnel disease and associated nerve damage (Demyelination and Axonal).
Neurodiagnostic testing has been proven to be effective in helping confirm the diagnosis of these conditions and document changes over time. This information is crucial, as research has shown that more than two million Americans are affected by neuropathy with numbers increasing as people age.
Renowned instructor and author Jerry Morris, MS, REDT, a specialist in electrodiagnostics, will present the seminar. Mr. Morris has over 25 years of experience and conducts numerous courses specifically designed for physicians of all disciplines and specialties. Mr. Morris has created a comprehensive instructional manual that details the use of electrodiagnostic testing for specific disorders. This manual will be provided to physicians who attend the seminar.
Additional contributors include: Edward J. Herba, MD, a board certified neurologist and frequent lecturer on the clinical indications and applications for nerve conduction studies, Gregory D. Thurston, DC, DIBCN, a board certified chiropractic neurologist specializing in the diagnosis of neurological disorders and Lawrence M. Rubin, DPM, a lecturer and author on billing compliance and coding issues.
The seminar will be held at the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel on May 17-18, 2003 in Atlantic City, NJ. The cost is $99.00 per person. Doctors who attend will receive a certificate for 12 CME hours. The company hosting the seminar, ZT Technical Services, is the nation's largest in-office neurodiagnostic testing company. ZT Technical Services' seminar will help educate physicians about the practical applications of diagnostic testing and provide them with the information they need to feel confident in overseeing the testing process in their practice. During the seminar, physicians will learn how to supervise testing, participate in hands-on demonstrations and engage other practitioners in an open forum to discuss testing procedures and case management.
