ICD-10 Bootcamp 2 Day Intensive Course

This two-day 12-hour ICD-10 implementation course is intended to give a chiropractic office all of the basic tools that are needed for a successful ICD-10 implementation on October 1, 2015. Session 1: Saturday, September 19th 11:00am 6:00pm This 6-HOUR LIVE BOOTCAMP will cover all of the basic tools needed for a successful ICD-10 implementation. Topics covered will include:

• An overview of HIPAA and the regulatory basis for ICD-10
• A step-by-step process for developing a customized ICD-10 implementation plan
• Increased documentation requirements for specific codes commonly used by chiropractors
• Four steps for accurately and quickly selecting an appropriate ICD-10 code for any diagnosis

Session 2: Sunday, September 20th 11:00am 6:00pm This 6-HOUR LIVE ADVANCED SESSION will provide opportunities for coding real-world case studies so you can hit the ground running in your practice October 1st. Topics covered in the "advanced session" include:

• Detailed discussion of new diagnosis coding concepts in ICD-10
• A preview of carrier-specific policies related to ICD-10
• Diagnosis code placement on a claim (selection, order, and diagnosis pointer use)
• Practice coding based on real-world chiropractic office notes
