INFANT and TODDLER ANALYSIS AND ADJUSTING TECHNIQUES (12 CE Credit Hours) by Dr. Ronald Castellucci, DC: This 12 hour class will include a review of the techniques for analysis and adjusting infants and toddlers. The concept of vertebral subluxation as biomechanical dysfunction and causes such as the birth process and in-utero constraint will be covered. Muscle palpation, inter-segmental range of motion analysis techniques as well as pre and post adjustment spinal analysis procedures will be discussed, demonstrated and practiced. Segmental adjusting techniques will include discussion and demonstration and practice of the various types of thrusts and adapted manual contacts used for adjusting newborns, infants and toddlers. About Your Instructor Dr. Ronald Castellucci, DC: Dr. Castellucci has been a practicing chiropractor since 1988; currently practicing out of his own clinic in Horse Shoe, North Carolina. He has also been affiliated with Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina since 1998; first as an instructor, then as Dean of Continuing Education, and today as an associate professor. Since 2003 he has designed and developed many courses and post-graduate courses covering a wide range of analyses and techniques. He has presented in workshops and seminars extensively during that time. He is especially noted for his pediatric and baby care courses and trainings. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri.
