"HOLDING THE ADJUSTMENT AND PREVENTION OF FUTURE RE-INJURY" (12 CE Credit Hours) by Dr. Ed Sinclair DC: In this 12 hour course, we will cover the path of the subluxation from initial presentation to wellness care and prevention of future re-injury; the concept of Patch vs. Fix; the affect of the vertebral subluxation on the extremities; basic triage for acute and chronic subluxations; how to quantifiably assess, screen and correct subluxations with functional movement and to use this information in developing a more specific care plan; how correcting subluxations improves functional competency & capacity; and how properly assessing the restoration of functional movement competency and capacity at the segmental, regional and global level can help you not only restore your patients health but to develop and maintain that health over time. About Your Instructor Dr. Ed Sinclair DC : Dr. Sinclair is a gifted instructor and chiropractor. He graduated from Chiropractic College at Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2002. While at Life, he received the Clinical Excellence Award, served as Class President and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He opened his own clinic in Birmingham, Alabama in 2003 where he has practiced since focusing on the benefits of pre-hab, functional assessment and rehab from a Chiropractic paradigm. In 2008 Dr. Sinclair achieved his C.C.E.P. from the Council on Extremity Adjusting. He has been providing inspired CE instruction since. He also brings a sports perspective to his chiropractic work, having worked as a grad-assistant at UAB with the Strength and Conditioning program - planning and supervising team workouts as well as the athletes' strength and conditioning progress.
