Cleveland University in Kansas City is having a 5K run on Saturday, March 30, 2019. The 5K run/race begins and ends on campus at 10850 Lowell Ave., Overland Park, KS US 66210.

CUKC Chiropractic Health Center Move for Life 5K

The 5K run/race will take place March 30 (Saturday) at 7 am on campus in Overland Park. It will highlight the beautiful CUKC Campus and Health Center.

All proceeds from the race will go to Camp MITIOG, a week-long camp for kids afflicted with spina bifida. Camp MITIOG is accredited by the American Camp Association and has been held each summer for the past 50 years.

During their week of camp, the children will participate in regular camping activities including swimming, fishing, canoeing, arts and crafts, nature classes, classes on self-help medical care and evening campfires. Camp MITIOG is located at Lake Doniphan Conference and Retreat Center which is located in Excelsior Springs, Missouri and provides a wheelchair accessible environment.

Awards

  • All runners will receive a T-shirt and a Medal for attending the race.
  • Age Groups are as followed; 19 and younger, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
  • Top 2 Finishers for Males and Females in each age group will receive a gold or silver medal.
  • Overall Male and Female with the fastest time will receive a prize package from our sponsors.

All registrants will receive a participant shirt at packet pickup.
