Chiropractor Santa Cruz, CA
We are looking for a motivated Chiropractor to join our practice full time in Santa Cruz. We are looking for a subluxation-based Chiropractor who is passionate about chiropractic and providing high-quality care! Ideally, the incoming chiropractor is a fantastic adjuster, a team player, who is willing to see a large patient load (100+PV per day). We limit working hours for the Chiropractor to less than 5 hours per shift, 4-5 days per week for an average of 32 hours per week.

Our dynamic, award-winning team consists of chiropractors and a dedicated support staff that helps us collaborate to provide the best care that our patients need and deserve! We work closely together as a team and with our patients, creating a great therapeutic environment. Our patients know they can rely on us for immediate help that is customize, and they can feel the difference!!

Duties:
• Perform initial exams and re-exams (medical history, focused physical exam, review pertinent imaging/documents/reports)
• Take, mark, and review Diagnostic imaging/X-rays
• Evaluate findings and determine diagnosis
• Develop and prepare appropriate treatment plans
• Patient education as to diagnosis, 1-1 Patient Report of Finding, treatment plan options, pre and post treatment care, lifestyle modifications, and benefits of continued chiropractic care
• Treatment- Chiropractic Care- adjustments Diversified and Palmer technique, occasional extremities
• Documentation and Charting (timely and accurate notes) Platinum EHR System, and prepare reports
• Work cooperatively with the team and other support staff for comprehensive patient care
• Patient follow up to ensure treatment goals are being met- reassessments

Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Chiropractic program (DC)
• Active Chiropractic license in CA with x-ray certification
Schedule:
• Full time (4-5 days per week)
• Mon/Wed: 7:30-11:30 am, 2:30-6:30 pm, Tue 1:30-6:30 pm, Fri 7:30-10:30 am, 12-3 pm, Sat 7:30-9:30 am (rotate every 3rd Saturday). Total hours 32 per week average.

Salary (range):
• $80k-90k per year plus production bonuses.

Duties:
• Patient examination
• Patient manual Adjustments- Diversified, full-spine adjusting, plus occasional extremity adjusting
• Documentation/Dictation for all patient care
• Discuss with patients results, findings/review X-ray/imaging
• Address patients concerns/questions
• Progress exams
• Coordinate patient care with the team (CA’s, support staff)
• Take, prepare, mark x-rays
• Prepare and arrange referrals to other healthcare providers as indicated
Qualifications:
• Graduation from an Accredited Chiropractic Program
• Licensed Doctor of Chiropractic in CA
• Licensed in CA to take X-rays
Salary (range):
• $70k-$85k per year to start
