This past year witnessed an historic event when the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) petitioned for renewal of recognition by the United States Department of Education (USDE). It was said that the USDE had never had so many people attend a hearing before. Individuals and representatives from several organizations provided testimony including:

The transcripts of the proceedings provide evidence of a deeply splintered, paranoid, untrusting, and incestuous profession. We reprint these transcripts and provide them at no charge in the hope that they will play a role in the development of a dialogue that the profession is in desperate need of having.
