Ready to retire, or you’ve tried selling your practice without any quality offers? Maybe we should talk!

We are seeking an honest win-win for a practice owner looking to sell, and for us moving into our next chapter.
Our ideal practice would be built on ethics, meaningful human relationships, with a solid (proven) marketing system in place.

We are ready to relocate and get licensed in another state if necessary, and here are some elements we are looking for:

Location:
– Located in close proximity to a city of 100,000+ population
– Growing Zone 6 or higher
– Affluent area that is generally safe at night and family friendly

Facility:
– Excellent visibility
– Space to grow and add another provider or additional services
– Preference if the building could also be purchased

Practice:
– Marketing system in place (not just word-of-mouth or current doctor’s reputation in the community)
– Preferably a practice with an associate in place
– Hands-on techniques, (massage or soft-tissue a plus)
– Cash/insurance preferred over PI/Workers Comp
– Clean history (no malpractice incidents or bad publicity)
– Stable or increasing gross revenue for the past 2 years

About us:
I’m a 2007 Logan graduate with experience in a variety of clinic types (The Joint, Workers Comp, PI, Nutrition, Wellness, Sports Rehab), and I’ve worked as an associate, independent contractor and also as a clinic owner. My wife has owned and managed a clinic with me, and also managed a very large massage therapy center of 60+ LMTs. I made a career change just over 3 years ago and have a solid well-paying career outside of chiropractic but have had a desire to return to practice if we can find the right opportunity.

We’ve built a small homestead/farm over the past year and now hope to find a new chapter to continue this passion with a longer growing season than where we currently live (Zone 5) and hope to put down some roots for years to come.

We’ve purchased a practice in the past which turned out to be barely on life support and required a lot of blood, sweat and tears to bring it back to life. Because of that experience, we are willing to take time to find the right opportunity and will not be interested in a bargain sale (sinking ship).

To avoid deceptive numbers and to ensure honesty and confidence in the value of a practice, we would be seeking a purchase agreement where the first 1-2 years would be owner-financed (with an agreed upon down-payment) and a full buyout no later than the end of year 2.
