Associate Chiropractor – Salt Lake City

A busy, evidenced based chiropractic clinic located in downtown Salt Lake City is looking for an associate Doctor of Chiropractic.

We have a large clinic including 3 treatment rooms, 2 massage therapy rooms, intake room, and a rehab training room. We have receptionists on staff during normal operating hours.

Duties include:

Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
Evaluate patients’ musculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine musculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.
Patient chiropractic care and education
Building positive doctor-patient relationships
Maintaining accurate and timely patient records
Qualifications:

Doctorate in Chiropractic
Current License to practice Chiropractic Medicine
Malpractice Insurance optional and can be negotiated as part of a contract
This is a salaried position with Paid Time Off, 401K, and Disability Insurance.

A note from Dr. Canada:

I believe in treating the musculoskeletal system as a whole. I use a mixture of joint mobilization techniques, along with soft tissue modalities and home exercise recommendations for patient treatments. Patients are not put onto long term treatment plans. I feel that if we are helping the patient restore joint function and helping reduce muscle imbalances with soft tissue therapies and home care recommendations the patient should not need a long term plan. Most treatment plans consist of 2 weeks of initial treatments the the patient is moved to a maintenance plan.
