Associate Doctor Needed in Ravenna, Ohio

Our office in Ravenna, Ohio is currently seeking an associate to help with the growing demands of our practice.  This practice has been serving Portage County for 53 years (Owned by Dr. Bill Blueter since 2004) so we have a recipe for long-term success.  We are looking for a licensed chiropractic doctor that is interested in patient care first that fits with our practice philosophy.  Our team is patient centered with a goal of patient education for overall health.  Some of the services we provide for our patients include:
 
• Chiropractic Manipulation (diversified and flexion/distraction)
• Exercise Rehabilitation (Exercise Physiologist on staff for 1-on-1 rehab)
• Massage Therapy (currently two LMTs on staff)
• Acupuncture
• Modalities (ultrasound, EMS, heat/cold packs)
• Kinesiotape
• Dietary Modifications
• Traction/Decompression
• Ergonomic Modifications
• General Life Advice  (sleep, stress management, functional medicine, referral to appropriate specialists) for long-term health
 
Our office is focused on what the patient wants.  We strive to achieve our patient’s health care goals, whether it is just to get out of pain, to follow through with a complete rehabilitation program or lifetime wellness care.  We perform the examination, make the diagnosis and recommend a treatment plan. However, at the end of the day, we accommodate our patient’s wishes once they are aware of their options.   We offer as much healthy lifestyle advice as we can for our patients regardless if we see them 4 times or 24 times.  The goal is to have our patients leave our office knowing more about how to be healthier and prevent injuries than when they walked in for their appointment. 
 
We average around 250 patient visits per week.  However, we have reached a point in which we are turning away new patients because we simply do not have room in our schedule.  Therefore, we are looking for a like-minded chiropractor that is willing to learn and to teach.  The new associate doctor would be expected to see patients for exam/diagnosis, treatment plan design and discussion, chiropractic manipulation and will have a lot of support from our staff for modalities, exercise rehab, kinesiotaping, scheduling, billing, etc. An ample amount of time would also be allotted for new patient exams and re-examinations.  We would never ask our associate to do anything they didn’t think was in the patient’s best interest.  
 
Our main concern is finding a doctor that fits with our team.  We have spent the past 16 years putting together a great team and we need to make sure that the right associate doctor fits with our team.

The right candidate would be eligible for a 1-year contract.
