Associate Chiropractor Looking for Work in South-East Asia

Dear sir/madam

I’ve been in Singapore since September ’16. If you are looking for an associate, or a locum chiropractor, I am available for you.

You can ask me to adapt to any style of practice. Having pracitced in Singapore, I’m experienced with the subluxation-based model even though my education, from the UK, has been pain-based.

What matter to me personally is that my father and aunty before me are also chiropractors. I have been raised believing chiropractic should cater specific care for each and every patient’s individual needs.

My preferred personal treatment style is relying primarily on the adjustment, offcourse. I also manually relieve muscle spasm when a patient suffers referred pain from soft tissues. If you have other modalities available, I will use them when and where necesarry, or train staff how to perform these where appropriate. Those that I’m experienced with are Distraction Table, ultrasound, heat and ice therapy, shockwave, and others

I am keen to learn any additional techniques and continue to improve my knowledge.

Below are a few of my personal beliefs about the profession. I hope these will resonate with you, and that you may want to reach out to me. Whilst these are my personal beliefs, I remain open-minded and flexible towards others’ style of practice (Hence I relocated to Singapore to experience high-volume, subluxation-based, family-oriented wellness practice.)
Adjustments in combination to some soft-tissue work and functional rehabilitation achieves far quicker results than adjustments alone, and adds value to ther service, which in turn promotes internal marketing and succesful busines.
X-rays are valuable in determining the nature of the case, structural or functional. I do not treat them, I use them for patient education, and safeguarding myself.
I incorporate functional rehab and exercise into most cases through in-clinic workshops, quot home-workquot per instructional videos using the internet, or outsource to the practie physiotherapist.
I record medical notes diligently and have frequent review and goal setting with the patients.
It’s not right to treat someone every week for the rest of their life whilst care should be intense at the initial phase, it should also be gradually spaced out to once every 3-6 weeks.
Pre-purchased care plans are only as reasonable as the number of treatments involved, and the individual case.
The patient is the most important person in the room, then my team, and only then myself.
I didn’t become a chiropractor for the money I became a doctor to make a difference in people’s life.

Thank you for reading,
hope to hear from you soon.

Faithfully,
Bram
