University of Western States is seeking a part-time chiropractic instructor. This position may be assigned a variety of duties, such as lecture, laboratory instruction, assessment of students, and/or student remediation. Instructional topics vary, including, but not limited to: general physical examination procedures, neuro-orthopedic examination procedures, palpation of spinal and extraspinal structures, joint and soft tissue assessment, diagnosis and management, mobilization and manipulation, therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques, evidence-informed practice, practice management, assigned professional development related to position and other topics as appropriate to expertise and program needs.
Such instruction introduces and develops the knowledge, skill, critical thinking and professionalism necessary for graduating students to function as an evidence-informed doctor of chiropractic. The assigned work schedule, to meet the needs of the program, is to be agreed upon at hire and reviewed/updated annually.
